Be very careful trying to rent from this company. They took over $500 in application fees from my step daughter and never provided them an apartment to rent after assuring them they would. This was done in 2 payments and now they refused to refund any of the money. I wish I had know they asked her for this before she did it so I could of warned her against it.

I wish I could give zero stars. Called to inquire about renting and the woman I spoke with was beyond rude and condescending. For someone in the customer service line, she needs to work on her skills and how she speaks to people. We are working with a third party company and I wanted to see if they do business with them, but instead of telling me yes or no, she asked why we need to work with them. Everyone's situations are different and there are no words to describe the feelings I have after this call.

My experience with Timberlake Apartments from start to finish was an excellent one. From the moment I reached out about leasing the staff was communicative and offered helpful direction where I needed it throughout the application process (it was my first time ever renting in Illinois). The community itself is equipped with a well maintained pool, a large playground, a small business facility, and a community center. There is access to the Metra UP-W line via thee stop in downtown West Chicago nearby to the complex which is awesome for getting to and from the city. While living at Timberlake the facilities have been consistently been improved upon. Decks were rebuilt, roofs replaced, public access ways repainted, parking lot/roads repaved and seal coated, the list goes on. The sense of community amongst the residents is also incredible; I would most certainly recommend the apartments to young families or those looking to start a family, as there's ton's of community resources available for families in general. The process of moving out has been a smooth one with the leasing and management staff there for any questions or concerns whenever I needed them. A shout out to Viola, Ekaterina, and Erica for their help and guidance while renting at Timberlake!

Ms. Viola in the leasing office, was the first person I came in contact with. She is kind, understanding and professional. I have lived here for several years. I can honestly say that everyone, from the leasing office manager, agents, and maintenence have all been attentive, helpful and amazing! I LOVE my apartment and I LOVE living here!

Are you looking for a welcome place to live? Then look no further! There’s nothing more welcoming than swear words written in Spanish around the property to slurs written on the wall! There’s even cockroaches to welcome you in your apartment everyday you come home. From lazy fixes from the on site maintenance team to the property managers not doing a thing to improve this place you’ll definitely want to call this your home! Inside my apartment you can see life is pretty as prison and the kitchen looks like it’s from the 80’s! Look no more and move into Timberlake! They also recently redid the balconies and you can see in my photos they did a great job of that too, even cut my internet wire with no warning during that so I didn’t have internet for 2 weeks. There’s also dents and scratches on the floor and the roof looks like it’s bound to collapse. (Don’t move here if you have a nice car, 99% of the damage done to my vehicle is just from it being parked here). Cannot wait to get out of here. Also side note, they used to not charge for water and garbage and with no warning started billing me for it.
