Brand new apartment building in a great area of Park Ridge. On nice days it's an easy walk to downtown Park Ridge to visit everything it has to offer. My best memory is walking down to the taste of Park Ridge during the summer and enjoying the taste and the bands, an amazing time. If you love Park Ridge this is a great place to be.

The apartments are very spacious for the rent they ask and all of the appliances are brand new. There is plenty of storage space both within the apartments and outside in the garages. The overhead lighting in the family room and kitchen is the best I've ever come across in an apartment building.

Management is very kind. I can't say enough how nice and helpful Jane and Robbie are. They always were there to help with anything that came up with the apartment and show a tremendous care for the tenants.

Very happy with my time at the Parker!

We just moved into The Parker about 10 days ago and we can't say enough good things about this place and the staff who run it! The apartments themselves are very stylish and have a great, open layout that make for a very welcoming and pleasant living environment. The finishes are modern without trying too hard. The community is adorable with lots of shops, grocery stores, a theater, parks, etc. within walking distance! We are LOVING living here.

Kandi, the community manager, is always willing and happy to answer questions and help us out even if it's not during business hours! On multiple occasions, she has provided assistance to us over her personal cell phone on her evenings or days off. She's amazing! Robby, the maintenance guru, came in to install closet shelving in the configuration we preferred and even moved our clothes for us!

Kandi and her team have so far gone way above and beyond the call of duty to makie sure our move-in was as smooth as possible. It's obvious that the staff here at The Parker really care about the tenants; we don't feel like we are just rent checks to them. Highly recommend!

Had the opportunity to tour The Parker and I can say safely that it is the most beautiful place to live in Park Ridge. The floor plans are extremely well laid out, feature high-end fixtures, and the amenity spaces are gorgeous and spotless. This place is a winner!

I've been living here for 11 months. I totally agree with the review right before mine. I pay more than $2000 every month. NOT CHEAP But this apartment has given me the worst experience. If you want to get some help from maintenance, you better expect to do it yourself. I requested more than 3-4times via emails and phone calls. But they rarely pick up the phone and or respond to emails (but obviously they are nice to you while they show you the apartments).

I actually had to run outside to grab a hold of the maintenance man in order to get some type of confirmation that my problem would get fixed. I was told our problem would get looked at within the hour and ended up waiting for two hours with no help whatsoever.
Main entrance system always broken or doesn't work. And someone had broke open the front door months ago which was never been fixed properly except with a couple of nails

Last winter, we have a mechanical room issue. So even my home was 62-65degrees even though I set 80-85. I was told by maintenance that the apartment is environmentally friendly So it doesn't go up above 62 degrees which maintenance also didnt understand . Ive had to turn on a portable space heater everyday during the winter. A few weeks later, maintenance realized that the mechanical ventilation wasnt working . They fixed it and it went up to the degree i set it at.

You can hear everything your neighbors are doing. I can hear every step that is taken. And I know when they wake up and wash up. I can hear footsteps and the sounds from water. You better belive that anyhing your neighbors listen to means you will be listening to the same thing and vice versa.

To summarize, when you first walk into the apartments it looks really nice. The location is nice as well. But as Ive lived here for almost a year, the experience was really disappointing. Its really a waste that the staff and maintenance here work so hard to get you in, then are nonexistent after youve signed your lease. For the $2000+that i spend on rent here a month, its such a headache.

Expensive, overreaching but underperforming - seems to be the story of The Parker. Replacing a short block of quaint single family homes, these new(ish) all mod cons condos are within walking distance of Uptown PR. Excellent! ...and that's about it for the good news. A slew of not so good things as other reviews have noted; and a not stellar performance by management. Maybe they'll get their act together next year?

You know, you get what you pay for...but not here. Hot water is hooked up to the fridge...so I've been gulping down dirty, mineral rich, hard water for the last 8 months and am now stuck buying bottled water. The A/C freezes up after an hour of use and was told the developers of the building would look into it...that was in August and no one has come by since. The cable ports flat don't work. I had comcast come out to diagnose the issue only to find out it was an internal issue and I had to pay out of pocket so he could hook up my modem from out of the wall in the second bedroom. The MX Butterfly entry system is stuck on the BIOS screen and has only every worked for about two weeks in a row, so no one can enter the building without me coming down the stairs to open the door for them. I can hear my neighbors. The lady upstairs feels it necessary to move her furniture once a week and I can hear every last noise. I also hear footsteps...literally any footstep. There is seemingly no insulation between floors or walls. I also know any time someone is opening a door pretty much on any floor....because of the lack of insulation and noise proofing. Twice now the fire alarm has gone off without a full explanation with no staff to be found...once at 3AM which was fun. Took 3 months to get our parking spots situated, we were moved around a couple times. The garbage is "hidden" behind a set of doors which lock from the outside and if you get stuck...which my girlfriend did once...there is no way to unlock the doors from the inside. She was stuck in 10 degree weather for 30 minutes before someone heard her. And they changed their website without notice and cancelled all auto payments...I was clueless until I got a notice of eviction, only five days into the month. Five days late after they arbitrarily decide to change their website slightly and they want to kick ME out. The vinyl flooring, although only a year old, is also starting to warp and the kitchen counters seem to be untreated so they stain rapidly. Color me unimpressed

Great Apartment! Completely new. Not sure what others are talking about, management has been completely responsive with everything! Possibly, a recent management change. Absolutely feels like home.
