Responsive and well managed rental community. Laing and Stone Prairie management are efficient and responsive to concerns, and they don't "play" with their rules. It took them less than 24 hours to approve my lease application last summer. If there are any maintenance issues, they'll send repair professionals out quickly. Recently, in my apartment building, someone had been smoking in the hallways and then propped the outside doors wide open to compensate for the obnoxious odor. After I and another tenant brought this to management's attention, they dealt with it professionally, and in a timely manner. The apartment units are quiet, very clean and everything works. When I moved in last August, my apartment unit was spotless. You'd be hard pressed to find a better apartment rental community in the Sycamore/DeKalb area, and at such a decent value.

From the minute we expressed interest in Stone Prarie, everyone in the office was extremely helpful. Maintenance is addressed quickly, and the Townhomes are very comfortable. The neighborhood is kept very clean and groomed. The workout room is very nicely appointed and the hours are very reasonable. Want to go for a walk? Plenty of walking trails throughout the area for a nice stroll. The rent is the kicker, as you cannot beat the value! Looking for a place in Sycamore? Call them!

I lived here between 2014 - 2016 and thoroughly enjoyed living here. It's definitely a quieter, more professional community. I believe the people that lived here were either graduate students, young professionals, or families. Very reasonable for the amenities that you receive here.

Recently, I have had to get in contact with them about signing a lease in my home state and I received a prompt response from them. The willingness of their office to help me out after I've moved out really means a lot to me. If only Stone Prairie was closer to where I lived now!

I have lived in a 2 bedroom apartment in stone prairie for 9 years now. I love it! It's really quiet. I like the fountains in our ponds, nice landscaping, fitness center,washer &dryer in each unit. Management and maintenance has been great!.

Considering rental prices around the area, it is the best deal in Sycamore and DeKalb. Even though the living room has an awkward layout. You get access to a nice pool and fitness center. Your unit has a washer/dryer. Dishwasher is nice. My one complaint is the cheap coil top stove. But it is at least new.

The area itself is landscaped pretty well. It's quiet and access to the main shopping area is around 10-15 minutes away.

After dealing with some difficult neighbors, not entirely sure I am happy with the way the office handled the matter. Luckily we worked out the matter with the main office of Laing Management.

We have lived at Stone Prairie for the past four years and love it. The complex is well taken care of, safe, and has both a pool and fitness center. If you are looking for a 2 bedroom rental, Stone Prairie is the place to live.

I lived here from 2012-2016 and loved it. It's by far the nicest rental community in Dekalb County. The rent barely increased from year-to-year and it had all the amenities you could want. You frequently see residents walking, running & biking. There's a very positive atmosphere and energy about the place. I regret leaving and hope to move back this summer.
