TOM is horrible and intentionally lied on my appraisal. I walked him through my entire home and informed him of all the remodeling that was done. He intentionally put on the appraisal the kitchen was not updated and the bathroom had not been updated in 11-15 years. When the entire home inside and most of outside was remodeled within the last year. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!! Of course, he low balled me, but I complained to my lender and they are sending a different company.

I'm not reviewing on the appraisal side of the business, I'm reviewing on the rental side of business. I've been renting from Mr. Bittle for 2 years now basically since I've lived in Marion, and let me tell you from what i thought was a good deal turned sour pretty quick, and yes this might follow through too well why dont you move, as most people in town know rent here is atrocious. So to start when we moved in the place was a mess, the main room carpet smelled horribly of cat urine and was supposed to be shampooed which never happened, there are still to this day hanging electrical wires in the living room, in one back bedroom the no electrical outlet works all that works is the light above, the dishwasher stopped working after 1 month of being here as well the garbage disposal, which incidentally all happened when all of the outlets on the front side of the house just stopped working for no reason. All of these things were told to him many times after they happened and nothing was ever done to fix it. There is also the issues that there is no internet hook up on the property to my apartment, which in illinois you have to by law provide some source of internet to connect to, and when asked when it would be fixed i was told i would have to buy the wire and find someone to hook it up. The worst part is due to the property being located in an area that is prone to flooding and after several floods, and the foundation not being sealed with 8 holes for what i can only assume are different crawl spaces, my foot went through the bathroom floor next to sink because of years of rot. Now this also had to be fixed by me for 600 dollars, to fix a tiny floor. I cant and wont speak for the appraisal side of the business nor for the employess in the office, they are great, but Mr. Bittle is a slumlord who will come to your house that you are renting to tell you to leave or else, call you and your family white trash and trouble since day one when youve rented for 2 years.

Extremely unprofessional and not responsive, made me feel really uncomfortable about the comment's of my daughters. Stay away from this business.
