Hello,
I would like to commend the great customer service and support I have received as a tenant over the years - from the staff and administration at Sky Management. Whenever I have had any apartment issues (or other concerns) the staff has been extremely responsive to assist me. I would like to especially recognize: Sophia Cardona (in Accounts Receivable) who has assisted me with many administrative issues with my rent - and has been very personable and professional handling all matters. It is great to know that a company has such competent and caring staff like Sophia and the others in their corporation - across the board.
I highly recommend Sky Management for any rental need's- and all property management services!

My experience with Sky Management was seamless. I truly felt as though they wanted to ensure that my home and future were set up properly. From the time I was in contact with them after touring the apartment, communication was timely and the process went quick. Does anyone even work here Have had several issues, the most recent of which is no heat/hot water (in the middle of winter, mind you). I try to call to contact management and can’t get through to speak to anyone. Just an automated message saying the quickest way to speak to someone is through email. Okay, so I email. Guess what. No response!! Reminder it’s I L L E G A L to not have heat or hot water in the winter!!!!

Living in the city since 2017, so far I have had the worst experience with Sky Management. The first month I moved in, I noticed the leaking issue in the bathroom, I reported and I waited for days that they sent people to fix the issue. One month later, my bathroom became a mess and absolutely not functional to use. The water leaked through the ceiling, and the paint started to peel. They sent people over, tore apart the ceiling and fixed the pipe, but left the ceiling open with all the rusty pipes exposed and unattended. No one ever reached out about what is the next step until I filed complaints and talked to my lawyer about the escalation with landlord failing to fulfill the responsibilities. The repairs normally happened slowly. Also the leaking issues happen in the whole building instead of just my apartment. Even nowadays if you walk into the hallway on a rainy day, you can see the management simply uses buckets to get the rain dripping from the ceiling. It’s a ghetto for the amount of money you pay to the management. Also many other issues like uneventful floor, fail to provide heat and some bully items in the lease (e.g. the landlord can show the tenants 4 months ahead with or without tenant’s consent, and if there is any violation, they would charge $100 each time, and note this is just a one-year lease).
As a young professional living in the city, you have had a lot to struggle to fight through your way, the Sky definitely can help you struggle more. I moved in this apartment at a time that is post pandemic and everything is so expensive especially the rental market. The Sky took advantage of the situation and just be careful if you want to deal with landlord like this

We lived in the 349 East 82nd street building of Sky Management's. Overall, the experience with the super was very positive but the experience with the management company was very negative.

They are VERY responsive when you're moving into the building and need to sign a lease and then completely disappeared after. A few issues that we experienced were:

- There were two laundry machines in the building and one went out, we had been emailing for 4 months about this since the super needed a work order to order another one and we didn't get a response until the SECOND one went out and the building was left without laundry for months on end. When we moved neither were fixed and I'd bet that they still aren't today a month after leaving.
- During this time the same management company's leasing office of course was reaching out about renewing our lease though.
- They began to renovate the apartment next to ours leading to two fractures in our walls which were never addressed after reaching out to management.

Even though not having laundry isn't the end of the world, it's concerning to think that we may have not gotten a response if something more serious happened.

Leasing management is super communicative and fast at processing paperwork for initial applications and renewals. I just signed a 3rd term. They only marginally increased my rent for the first renewal and then nothing for my most recent resign!
They are quick to respond to repair requests and will preemptively notify you of maintenance requests. The laundry machines in my apartment unit are all operative and pay-by-phone app rather than coins/card.

wonderfully easy to work with.. had difficulty getting to bank to make wire transfer to secure apartment and Barbara worked with us and gave us the time to figure out the details. Very responsive and informative of any needs and changes to lease agreement. Thank you for working with us to help our daughter get her first NYC apartment. Highly recommend working with this group.
