While trying to sell our former house, we discovered Megan Beechen through a very impressive neighborhood folder left on the driveway at our new house. My first thought was “if this person is willing to produce this quality of targeted marketing material for a whole subdivision, she’s at least worth a second look.” That was the first of several very good decisions we made with Megan.

I do commercial real estate, but know nothing about residential (as I learned). We needed someone who not only had great marketing skills, but knew exactly how to prepare the house for sale and wasn’t afraid to tell us. We followed Megan’s advice to the letter. She also advised us on a brilliant pricing strategy that we followed to the letter.

With our previous attempt to sell, we received 1 low-ball offer over the course of 3 months. With Megan’s strategy and guidance, we listed the property on a Thursday, had 6 showings by Sunday, and 2 offers by Monday. When evaluating the offers, she provided expert advice not only on the business terms, but even the pros and cons of the prospective-buyers’ lenders. Bottom line is she got us a full-price offer, with the buyer using our preferred lender, and a closing timeframe that exceeded our expectations!

I called to receive information about a rental that was listed as active on their website. I talked to the agent that represented the rental (Anna Kedryna) and she was rude and off-putting. She stated that the rental was not active and there was not a listing on their site, when I was literally staring at it on my computer. All this to say, I was interested in working with their team to find a rental, but after that encounter, I will not be. Additionally, they apparently do not keep their website up-to-date, which kind of defeats the purpose of having one. Yikes!
