1544 sapphire ct Gurnee IL is the property I was interested in and offer accepted to buy while dealing with this realty company who then the realtor was the worst negotiator and very unreasonable to work with. My very tenured attorney and lender even mentioned he has never dealt with such an awful experience. The house was listed as a 3 bed room and it was not due to the third being in the basement next to the furnace and causing it to be a fire hazard and unlivable— no one can safely sleep. So in most peoples perspective that would be considered false advertising. They also refused our appraisal and didn’t even let them in which led me to believe they were hiding something. All in all- I would give 0 stars if I could. And I hope their other customers do not go through what I had to. And maybe this review will make a difference in a more positive way of doing business.

I am a real estate broker and, accordingly, spend a ton of time on the MLS. MRED is one of my greatest tools and a critical part of my business. Your homes in urban communities are severely overpriced. On average, you market homes in these areas 40% higher than they are worth. However, because you have literally purchased every single home in these areas that were up for short sale or foreclosed, the community has no choice but to purchase from you at these inflated prices and as a result you have unjustifiably raised the market value in these communities. The price history for these homes speak for themselves, if you disclose that information on a listing at all. Asking for $300,000 for a 1100 sqft home in a crime and poverty strickened area is taking advantage of people. From looking at the demographics of your contrators, it's no surprise that you have taken advantage of struggles these communities have encountered in the last year or so and your intent to make it impossible for them to rebuild in the communities they were generationally raised in. You paid less than 100,000 for these homes in last two years and turned around and put them up for sale for 3 times that. Yet I've noticed that properties in suburban and predominantly Caucasian neighborhoods, MRED doesn't exercise that same practice.

Absolutely terrible!! Customer service was just disgusting, while I was on the phone with an agent for a listing in Carol Stream.. I was given the worst attitude ever for someone who was supposed to have helped me schedule a tour for the home, I’m never going to look at this place for help in finding housing at a reasonable price. My suggestion? look anywhere else if you can, this place should be your last resort.

The info from MRED is incorrect on the listing of my home. I wonder how I can correct the misinformation. On the back page is a listing of neighborhood info, there is 24 points of info and 10 are incorrect. This will not help sell my home.
