All around unprofessional company avoid if at all possible. Bad communication, bad record keeping, a pain to pay rent, upon moving out they will insist on doin walk through with out you and charge 100 for non existing issues and will be late with remainder if any of deposit. Avoid Metropolitan property group of florida as a tenant if at all possible. Below are pictures of my apartment upon moving out in which I was charged 100 for cleaning fee. 🙃

Wow! When I say I had the best experience with Colette, I mean it!! She is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and thorough in her searches. She planned a full afternoon of tours and gave me her honest feedback and thoughts on each property. I very much felt taken care of and seen in this process and I could not recommend Colette or Metropolitan Property Group more!

Tyler Barney from MPG was the most professional, kind, and hard working broker I have ever worked with. He found me the perfect apartment and followed all of my requests with what I was looking for. Tyler goes above and beyond and was always attentive and reassuring me he would find the right place. He outdid himself! I am very lucky to have worked with him!!

Asked for a $500 good faith deposit, then the rent was raised 250$. As soon as I saw it was raised I contacted them to send back my deposit. Three days later I had to call and get them to initiate. I was told they have never heard of me and although I had already sent verification of requested items needed in order to get it back. I was then hung up on and had to call back again. I would not do any business with this group and I will be reporting to the BBB, police, and with my bank to dispute this charge.

I had such a bad experience with Gerard Hierro, real estate agent at this place. Unprofessional, poor work ethics, poor communication skills. If you like an apartment, call the company directly. I went to see an apartment and immediately felt in love with the place. The same day, I sent my application with all the information needed. I also put a security deposit to take the apartment off the market as per his advice. I waited over the weekend for the process to take place. He never reached out to update me, I had to text him to find out what was going on. 5 days later he asked me for a recommendation letter from my landlord and employer which I provided. Few days pass, i don’t hear from him. After almost 2 weeks of my application was submitted i Sent him a text one morning asking for an update, no response from him. When I call the company in the afternoon my application was still in process. The next day another agent called me to let me know that the apartment was rented over the weekend to someone else. I was qualified to get the apartment, put a deposit to take the apartment off the market , I was fast with all my paperwork, I was always responsive to his requests ,there was no good reason for me not to get the apartment . The new agent apologized for him and tried to help me out but after the experience I decided to keep my search somewhere else. Never received a direct apology from the agent.

This is the worst real estate company to deal with in NYC. I applied for an apartment and they told me pay $500 that will be refunded and $20 for application. I applied and only 2 weeks later with them requiring to give me more papers then stated did I have to call back to find out an update. It’s been over two weeks and they still haven’t refunded me with the $500 refundable deposit.

Completely unethical company and scam. They will ask you to put a "refundable" deposit down for applying for an apartment then when you do not get the apartment, you will have to fight and call them to try to get your money. Do not give them a deposit because they will keep it.

Clare was a complete liar. She took me to an apartment that said No Fee on the StreetEasy, and after she claimed that the lease was in hand for me to sign, she told me there was actually a fee. She then texted me that I was a cheapskate for not wanting to pay the fee. I spoke to the listing agent for the apartment, who told me that she had lied to me on many levels. I will be reporting this company to the Real Estate board.
