I recommend Rick Anders if your looking to buy a home. He was great in helping my mother purchase her first home. He listened to what she was looking for and stayed within her price limit. He was always available for us and answered all the questions we had and made the buying process less stressful. He made us feel like family. Thank you Rick for all your help and patience in helping find my mother the right place and for the right price.

Key realty also owns briargate management which is who I rent from. Long story short I've been dealing with an extremely loud neighbor. In our lease there is a clear and specific part about loud and boisterous noise not to be as to disturb the residence or their guest. My fiance and I have made MULTIPLE complaints with specific details. I expected the property manager to handle these complaints professionally and resolve this issue for us. Instead I was told it was "a lifestyle difference" and to contact the police. Well yes it is most certainly a lifestyle difference. We choose to live respectfully and quite like we agreed to in the lease, when we signed it. And our neighbor lives a loud, ignorant lifestyle where there is constant banging on the floor causing our lights and fans to shake and preventing us to relax or even sleep most times. This is morning to night every day. The anxiety is through the roof. I feel very taken advantage of and that this is an issue that shouldn't have to involve police at all. Hopefully key will respond so we can resolve this issue and move forward. Kind of lost as to how to move forward

My sister and mom used Mia Moore for their realtor to purchase a beautiful home in Belvidere Illinois. Mia was amazing and very knowledgeable about every home they looked at. We where so pleased with her services that we also used Mia when we sold our other home.

We cannot being to express our gratitude to Miroslaw Niemiec for finding us our first home. We found him through Zillow, and though initially hesitant because we had worked with two agents prior through Zillow who weren't the most responsive; we were amazed at this patience, knowledge and just overall follow-through with the entire process. He knew exactly what we were looking for and didn't try to show us something that wasn't in our budget, he worked strictly on our behalf. Again, we're first time home buyers, so our knowledge is somewhat limited, but he explained each step along the way in great detail and was able to provide us so much useful information, we'll appreciate always. I highly recommend working with him for all real estate needs, I know we will.

Let me preface this review by saying that I’m sure there are wonderful agents at Key Realty Rockford, however, our experience with one particular agent has turned us off from ever using this company and warning everyone we know to steer clear.

Unfortunately, their agent Chuck uses unethical practices and is more interested in personal gain than being honest and fair. He was extremely rude to my real estate agent, intentionally hard to get ahold of, and held off submitting paperwork for days after verbally accepting an offer in hopes of a better offer and bigger sale (despite persistent texts and calls from my agent). We were extremely shocked by the things that he did, and he in no way lived up to the morals that Key Realty prides themselves on. As a buyer, he will make things difficult for you and he will cut corners to make sure he gets the most he can in his pocket, even if it’s not done ethically and it means sliding things under the table. He is what they are talking about when they compare realtors to car salesmen, and I would never consider or recommend buying or selling a property from him. I’ve dealt with many realtors and brokers, some better than others, but I’ve never felt the need to take time to review someone, and especially not because of unbelievable, unethical practices that I’ve seen while involved with Chuck. If you’re considering listing or buying with him, run the other way and don’t look back.

This was the worst experience I have ever been through. To start off the customer/ realtor relationship, we had dropped our applications off in the office in late June (With the application fees.) A week and a half went by with no contact from K.R.

We decided to call them to check on the applications. Upon calling, we discovered that the realtor did NOT receive our applications, as they had become lost through the "shuffling of paperwork."

After finally processing our applications, we were approved. With the initial approval date around early July, we were instructed to wait for them to contact us with the official move-in date (We were told we could move-in at the LATEST August 1st.) Two and a half weeks went by and we had not yet heard from K.R.

Again, we decided to contact them about the delay. They had not even touched the apartment. They said they would call us back with the official move-in date.

One more week went by, and we FINALLY received a call indicating that our move-in date was in mid-August. We then proceeded to wait until we received another phone call from the realtor indicating that our move-in date can be moved-up to August 5th, as the apartment would be ready for us.

We drove across town to K.R. and signed a few agreement papers. At MY request, I asked to view the apartment once more before we sign the lease agreement. The agent approved, and we drove across town again.

She unlocked the apartment, and we all walked in. Not only was there a bad smell, the apartment still had stained carpet, dirty walls which also contained nails and screws, the kitchen door had a punch hole in it, the back patio door was extremely damaged (Looks like an animal tried to claw through, one of the kitchen cabinets was broken, there was standing water in the basement, the ceiling in the basement was warped due to the extreme moisture, the upstairs bedrooms still had big stains in the carpet, and lastly the realtor had no knowledge of the damages.

If I had not requested to see the apartment, this would have NEVER been discovered until the move-in process. While in the apartment, she contacted the building manager who said our move-in date was still in mid-August and that they have not come out to fix anything as of yet.

Not only were we angry, but we were put through such an inconvenience to get pushed back another week.

We all drove back to the K.R. office, and decided to let them fix these needed repairs. I instructed the realtor to contact me throughout the week with any updates (Even if nothing new had unfolded.)

Another week went by, and I had not received a phone call. I decided to reach out for the third and final time! She said the apartment is suppose to be ready and she was gonna go over to the apartment and provide me with an update later that night. I never received a phone call.

The next morning, I received a call around 12 from the realtor whom had some more news for us. The apartment still wasn't ready, but they would like to put us into a different unit instead.

This has forced the decision to move on to a competitor business.

The realtor was probably one of the most unprofessional, uninformed, and irresponsible people I have ever communicated with.

Very poor decision to try and go through this company. Definitely, the worst experience. Over all, the experience lasted 45+ days.

The indecent, irresponsible business practices interfere with peoples lives. Inconsiderate how the communication between the building manager and the realtor barely exist.

K.R. is pointing fingers at the building manager, and vice versa.

The fact that no one is claiming responsibility is sad and unprofessional to say the least.

To Key Realty: This is an honest review from your most recent mistreated ex-client. Congrats to all of those that did find a happy home. We were hoping to do the same. Thank you.
