As we were moving to Springfield, IL from New Jersey, we had no idea where to start to look for housing. We came across Ms Cheryl from Kennedy Schempp Properties and she welcomed us, showed us hospitality and showed her all her available rentals! We had a place to stay within days! Also, it was conveniently located downtown Springfield, 5 mins away from our work and easy access to shopping etc. We were so sad to leave our Victorian style apartment that we made so many memories in as a newly married couple and will forever cherish our memories there! Thank you for being the best host Ms. Cheryl!

820 e Converse ave Springfield Illinois This apartment building is a joke they started off hiring people off the street to do professional remodeling. Then the owner Ryan FICSSYSTEMS INC couldn't finish by a certain deadline and now Kennedy Schempp Properties is managing the apartment building. A tenant that lives there was taken to jail and his apt was broken into and his debet card was stolen for a SECOND TIME so when he got out the Kennedy had switched his locks he was locked out for hrs he told the lady the rent would be late and she told him that she doesn't want him to pay rent to use it for a security deposit on another apartment because she wants him out he told her at that time I have NO where else to go. She left and 5 five day notices were on the box in the apartment she didn't return until after he had to call the city to report terrible plumbing he had human poop coming up from the tub drain , black mold, bed bugs that 2 other apartments had and were condemned that day also. She showed up with some guy that was bigger than the renter and they began telling him how he has to leave that day but the other two tenants were moved to NEWLY SO CALLED REMODED APARTMENT UNTIL THEIR APARTMENTS were done HAVING MAINTENANCE DONE TO THEM YET THIS TENANT HAS BEEN LEFT IN THE SAME APARTMENT WITH THE SAME PLUMBING PROBLEMS AND CONTINUES TO FINE BED BUGS AND MICE WHILE HE BREATHS IN BLACK MOLD DAYLY. THIS IS NOT RIGHT AND NOW AFTER ITS ALL SAID AND DONE THEY ARE NOW TRYING TO EVICT HIM TELLING HIM THAT THEY TRIED BEING NICE AND MANIPULATING HIM INTO BELIEVING THAT THIS IS ALL HIS FAULT. Sooo it's his fault that Kennedy Schempp Properties are racist, manipulative, narcissistic, manipulative liers? No no no see that's something in those of Kennedy properties NOT the renter.

As a new person in town I had very little to go on when looking for a rental. These people were so helpful and gracious to me. Although they did not have an available property that met my needs they went out of their way to help me connect with other property management. As a result of their kindness and help my family and I found a place to rent from one of their recommendations.

Absolutely the worst landlords I have ever encountered. Never reachable by phone, you almost have to park outside their office and wait for them to leave to ever talk to them.
Sewage problems in your home? Toilet waste running into your kitchen? They'll get that fixed in a little over a week. Never have I seen such a health issue be neglected and not taken care of in a timely manner. NOBODY deserves landlords this shady.

Texted the landlords at night about an issue, came the next morning to look at that and a couple others. Was back within 3 hours and fixed everything. Great service 👍. Appreciate the work Bruce .

They are hard to get in touch with was my main issue then really didn’t clean the property they put me in then after week was woke up in middle of the night by cat size Rats I did not sutter this was not mice how ever they did give me my money back and I move out but put the house back up the next day knowing it was infested with rats and that why I’m finally making this post just so yal know I added the pics of our messages when I should them the rat they never acknowledge it but gave me my money back I only have video and they to fast to screen shot or I would put the rat on here but I sent them video proof
