I can’t begin to say how lucky the Peoria Office is to have Jeff Waggoner as a Real Estate Agent. We were out of state buyers looking to move back to Illinois. It’s hard to see what the good and bad of home on the internet is, but Jeff was a blessing for us. It only took two homes, but after the first house he virtual showed me, I could tell Jeff was a honest, hardworking individual.

Jeff went above and beyond what we expected buying out of state. He kept us in the loop during the whole transaction and didn’t skip a beat, from writing an offer to Closing. He even did a virtual meeting with our home inspection.

Because of Jeff, our family found a wonderful older home!

My wife and i went to look at a house listed by this company. We were having trouble unlocking the house and the listing agent would not respond to texts or phone calls. My agent finally reached another agent in the office over the phone and the lady representing this company was absolutely RUDE and unwilling to help. Instead she talked down to my realtor and treated him as if he was dumb. Offered us no advice or assistance to open the door. Then followed up with text messages saying she don’t understand how we had trouble unlocking a smart handle when theres been 25 showings in a day and no one else had problems.

I would never list through this agent and because of this treatment my wife and decided against placing an offer as we refuse to give money or due business with a company that has absolutely no customer service or professional courtesy.

He took the time to explain things to us, answer questions, and checked in regularly to see if we had any questions or concerns. Mark was always readily available. I was assigned an agent through Realtor.com who works for Jim Maloof. His name is Christopher Merry. I did text him on Christmas Eve, but only to remind him I was still waiting for info on a house I had asked about Tuesday that he said he'd send by the end of that day Tuesday and never did. I saw that the house went pending on Saturday, but he FINALLY reached out today to get an offer started, without even sending me the house info. No mention of it being pending. I told him I saw it was already pending, an hour later he responded that he just saw. A realtor should know this stuff before their client!

I never asked him to put in an offer, just reminded him he still hadn't sent me info and to please send it whenever he had time. He had a history of forgetting to send me things or saying he'd do something and then not doing it. It also felt like he kept pushing one house on me (the Lucerne house he mentions that I did not want to make an offer on) instead of providing info on other ones. I dodged a bullet with him and Jim Maloof because after I politely told him we weren't a good match, he responded in a VERY unprofessional, rude, and insulting manner as shown in my attached screenshots of his texts to me literally saying I am not worth his time.

Stay away from these guys unless you want an unprofessional agent who throws tantrums!

No major problems with the actual sale but any assistance after the sale was non existent. They would not return calls for any questions or paperwork needs. Very dissatisfied at this point. Will see what the supervisor does, if anything. I just talked to the supervisor of the realtor and she was very helpful and is sending me the information I needed.
