We’ve had a very unfortunate experience renting through this company at one of their BoxedUp Storage facilities. We were promised a move-in discount (by a manager no longer employed) for 2 units to be applied quarterly- we had to fight to get the discount the 3rd quarter for one unit, and were denied a discount on the 2nd unit. We were just denied a discount for both units for the 4th quarter. Apparently, when a manager leaves, they refuse to honor the deals made by that manager. The owner is aware there are applicable notes in the computer (according to Denny, his Regional Manager), but still refuses to honor it. There are dozens of storage facilities in the Rockford area – save yourself the hassle and headaches, and rent somewhere trustworthy.

Also removing stars for leaking fluids in facility units that we saw there for days before I called and reported it. Don’t they conduct a daily walk-through?! Terrible management.

After caring for their vacant property for 17 years and offering to buy the lot they sent a letter saying we are not allowed to use the lot anymore. Our kids are apperantly not allowed to play soccer on a lot thats been empty for over 17 years. No thank you for maintaining it but a written threatening letter. It's sad that greed outweighs everything these days!!! Pathetic to say the least!

Do not lease at there location.
If you end lease there they will charge hell of the amounts to you.
