We used DNR recently when our water heater leaked and flooded our basement. The entire basement was saturated and the water damaged our floors, walls, baseboards, etc. It was huge, overwhelming mess! A friend recommended Cam and his team at DNR and they were fantastic! I called Cam on a Sunday and he was out that afternoon to survey the damage and help us come up with a plan. Cam was so knowledgeable about not only the clean up/restoration process but also how to work with the insurance company. This was so helpful and gave my husband and I such peace of mind. Cam had his team out first thing the next morning and they quickly got to work moving things out of the basement including the damaged floors/drywall and drying every out. Gustavo (the onsite supervisor) and his team were fantastic!! I honestly don’t know how they do it! Great communication, hardworking, friendly and truly seem to take pride in doing things the right way. I can’t say enough good about them. They knew exactly what to do to dry things out and to minimize the damage and also how to proceed with repair and rebuilding. The entire team met with our insurance adjuster onsite and reviewed the damage and the necessary repairs. Our adjuster was so appreciative of all of the leg work that the DNR team had done including detailed estimates and measurements. This seemed to help expedite things. The estimates were quickly approved by insurance and they had material samples for us to choose from right away. The rebuild team is in the process of completing the reconstruction now and things are moving along very smoothly. Again the communication is fantastic, the guys are so pleasant. They work so hard and leave things very tidy at the end of the day. While we hope to never have another leak or similar incident we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend DNR to friends or family or to use them again in the future. We couldn’t be happier.

Through the City of Chicago Heat and Insulation program , DNR Construction Insulated my bungalow attic. They were forced to rereplace the plastic sheeting they initially used, with the wood planks they should have used to hold blown in celluloid in place under the sloped part of roof and to blow in insulation under the floor boards which they did not do the first time although they said that that was done. What the thought they would do is take advantage of an old lady that couldn’t climb stairs to check on their work. They only came back and corrected the work after I threatened to contact the City of Chicago Heat and Insulation program.

Joe Oakes and his team blew insulation into the walls, installed a bathroom ventilation fan, and carbon monoxide alarms at our bungalow home. We were even approved for a new boiler and thermostat. All these guys did a fantastic job! They were professional, respectful, and completed the job in one day. They even cleaned up and vacuumed up all debris when they were done.
While working a section at the top of a custom-made cabinet detached, Tom McElherne came over to check it and he immediately sent someone out to repair it... no questions asked.
We were very pleased with the exceptional service we were provided. We would be pleased to work with them again, and happy to refer them.

DNR is in the process of installing blown cellulose insulation in the attics of our townhome complex, plus bathroom exhaust fans. In all my years here I've never experienced an outside contractor whose crew was as thoughtful, respectful and old school as this one is. They tarp everything off, cover the floors, and even vacuum (!) before they leave. Zero mess left, inside or outside. They treat your home and property as if it's their own. I'm so impressed.

From the call, the consult, the updates to the day of the job the company was amazing! On the day of the job, they came in and introduced and explained everything! They were very organized and cleanliness/protection of home was superior! One of the owner's stopped by, mid job, to check the work and his crew, and ask if of there was anything else needed!
