I am a resident at prairie view apartments and the apartment complex is a disgrace to say the least. The apartments are falling apart, there is mold all over, mice and roaches live rent free in the walls in ALL the apartments, ceiling leaking and caving in, closet doors come off every other day with no effort. I’ve complained to the developers at debruler and still no response. I can see why the property manager Leslie doesn’t care, because Dawn at cooperate doesn’t either. Prairie view apartments need to be torn down and forgotten. Send all complaints and concerns to health dept and alderman. That gets their attention then.

I live in the “Hebron Townhome Apartments” where “Conquering and dividing” is in play HEAVY. You are stalked by the “Residents” so they can have something to go and report to “Property Management “ and from here you are sent notices or looked at as being “Untruthful” by everyone who is playing this little “Peekaboo” game. Your privacy is not respected, there is no one in charge where you can speak and the nonsense stop not even the “Corporate Giants” everytime I ask to speak with “Dawn N.” I’m

Not a grown up, it was stated that he lived here was sent a notice to provide documentation that he don’t belong here. His name was cleared so I thought because the necessary was provided. An issue occurs here and my company is being thrown in something he had nothing to do with all because he was seen walking out of my door “FREQUENTLY “ and even with camera footage still blamed. Truly unacceptable, I thought there was an understanding but obviously not. We are “Ridiculed “ for being low income, not treated fairly, intimidated every single chance there is a time to do so, and nothing is done. If you are having issues report to “HUD” there is absolutely no way all the reviews are similar for this company which means this is not fair housing. Hopefully “HUD” can help because this is “Disgusting” from so called grown adults. Rules are rules totally understood, they can be broken or ignored by the ones who are favored, and go report everything. We are not looking for everything to go our way, but truly looking for “Fairness” for all. Does not exist here. Retrain your employees, so they can be better for people⁉️

Debruler and the landlord Trudy are by far the worst company and people I’ve ever rented from. The rules and policies they try to put in place infringe on tenants rights.

1- yearly “cleaning checks”. Meaning they have someone come into your apartment and check if it’s clean. I was instructed to clean out the crumbs on my stove top and clean my fan blades…. The list they give you even states ridiculous things like “no shoes or clothes on the floor”…. I’m sorry, are you now my mother?!

2- tried to force me into adding my boyfriend to my lease because he visited once a weekend. As a single female, being told I have to add a male to my lease and give him complete rights to my property and belongings is beyond unsafe. When confronted with this, Trudy kept trying to argue with me. Till I explained that if we broke up, he now has every right to my money and my property.

Trudy is also the rudest human I’ve ever met. I’ve heard her yell and scream at the poor lady who works the front desk. I even have a friend who did staffing for her and couldn’t get people hired because of how rude and unprofessional she is.

The apartment complex where I live is a place to live I'm not complaining but it needs improvement the property and the tenants. As far as the Debruler company itself, could be better at responding to the tenants needs who has issues, for example my refrigerator wasn't cooling last year and I told the maintenance men that it's not going to work anymore the motor in the freezer had stop turning. All my food spoiled twice and I called Debruler to ask for a new refrigerator and to reimburse me for the lost of my food... Never got a call back ( for the compensation) After the second breakdown I finally got a new refurbished refrigerator but still no financial compensation for the lost of all my food.

I live at Colonial Park Apt, in Park City, which is managed by DeBruler Co. Management is horrible here. They are anything but helpful when you have questions or concerns. That includes issues with the towing company the have contracted to enforce parking lot policies. They need to hire people who live on site and actually have a reason to care about what takes place on the property.
