Called and set up an appointment a week in advance to view a house for rent. Realtor called me 2.5 hours before the viewing to cancel, stating that the property was rented a few days previous. Perfectly good vacation day squandered because of agent laziness and ineptitude.

Update: I just saw that they responded to this years later. They had multiple days to call me to cancel the appointment. They chose to procrastinate until the day of the meeting, so I couldn't cancel my time off.

Stop and look at their response, they failed to see the root cause of my complaint and tried to spin it into a sales pitch.

Ask yourself- do you want a real estate agency doing this to you? Find better.

The Agent had us do a back ground check that cost 30 dollars a person, but the property ended up not being for rent and they refused to refund our money. We were not declined because of our security check, the property was pulled before they reviewed it, but we had already paid for the check. The agent said she would do her best to get our money back, but never replied back to us. DO NOT TRUST THIS AGENCY

Edit: the Agent is downright lying in the reply. She stated very clearly that the owner decided to sell instead of rent before the agent had even sent our back ground check., Our credits were also impacted due to the transunion hard credit check.

Tom went out of his way to make sure we were happy. He did loads of research on our purchase. Tom did all of this knowing it was a small sale price which equals small pay day for him.
