We lived at two different Brick City properties for all 7 years we lived in Springfield. Both properties were flawlessly remodeled, both in terms of quality and style.

Seth and Ivy are also very easy, pleasant, reasonable, and honest to work with as landlords. They are communicative and responsive. As an example - once I accidentally left a knob on the stove slightly on. As a precaution, someone from the gas company came and did a routine, comprehensive inspection. After observing the condition of the pipes and other infrastructure of the basement, the man said, "Wow. You have great landlords. You'd be surprised how many landlords in Springfield don't do this good a job."

All this is to say - Seth and Ivy/Brick City are thorough and consistent in doing great work and we highly recommend anyone and everyone to rent from them!

I rented from Ivy & Seth Molen (Brick City apartments) for about 3 years in downtown Springfield. The property I rented through them was a huge two story house built in the 1900s. These two managed to remodel this historical building into a beautiful two unit apartment & keep the original hardwood floors intact. Anytime I had questions or issues Ivy was one text away & quick to respond. She once saved all my food with her personal cooler when my fridge broke.

Ivy & Seth are both amazing landlords and they put a lot of care into what they do. I highly recommend Brick City Apartments to anyone looking for a home or small business space. I’m forever grateful to them both for giving me my dream downtown apartment.

My husband and I rented from Brick City and could not speak more highly of them! Our apartment was absolutely spotless when we moved in and all of their properties that we have seen in the area are so well taken care of. Whenever we had any questions or requests, we always received a response within an hour and they were so great with working with us when we needed to adjust our lease length. Not only were they kind and communicative landlords, we loved their mission behind restoring Springfield homes to keep their character while being updated.

Brick City has done a great job of renovating older buildings in town. I loved the apartment I lived in downtown! However, I did not have the best experiences with this rental agency.

I lived in one of Brick City's apartments for a year and it was great! The place was clean, quiet, and well-cared for. When I had to move out-of-state without much notice for work, Ivy was super understanding and gave back prorated rent once a new tenant moved in, as well as the deposit.

The locations of their apartments are great and w/in walking distance of all of the neat things going on in downtown Springfield. I rented an apartment from Brick City Properties for just under two years. The location and condition of the apartment at move-in were fantastic. You can tell Ivy and Seth put a lot of effort, pride, and time in fixing up these older buildings. During my time there, I only had one maintenance issue come up and it was promptly addressed. I would still be living there if my career did not take me to a new state. I highly recommend Brick City Properties to any one looking for an apartment Springfield!
