My townhouse HOA fired Advocate after several years because of poor service. Advocate took it upon themselves to cancel our billing accounts with our water provider instead of transferring them to the new property management. This has created a huge inconvenience to everyone involved especially when several units had a service outage last month and didn't know who to call. Assuming Advocate did this out of spite I find that deeply juvenile on their part. If it wasn't out of spite then it demonstrated little competency on their part. Furthermore their homeowners portal was terrible. Every time I would set up a password to sign in they would take it upon themselves to reset it to a default so basic that a child could figure it out.

Your employee, Shirley, who handles Winston Hills Condos, is one of the rudest, miserable people I have ever dealt with. I am ready to purchase and absolutely will not purchase a Winston Hills condo strictly so I do not have to ever deal with her. She clearly hates her job just by the tone of her voice when she answers a call. The fact that your company allows someone clearly miserable in her job, to handle your accounts, says a lot about how you feel regarding your customers. She is not an asset to your company. Maybe you should look in to that. ***It's interesting that your response is only about me not being an owner. So, she is only nice to people who own in the building? Wow. Actually, I have spoken to several "owners" and maintenance people, who have ALL had to deal with her. I have not heard one nice thing about her. Your answer regarding her behavior clearly shows this is acceptable to your company. I'm glad - now everyone can see first hand in the reviews what they have to look forward too. Thank you!

I stayed in condo where APM were the management company. All they did was nothing other than collection HOA monthly payments. No maintenance crew seen ever. Any request that needs Board member approval the property manager has to get never happens as the managers dont do their job. In my case propery manager name was Nick Bozidarevic who harrassed me and my lawyer when selling the place and put a violation which i paid as i wanted to give my family a nice better place to live in. Shirley Pitsenberger is the customer service person who just passes information to who which is still a question till today.
One key thing is these ppl at APM do not appreciate nice ppl so be an Asshole to them as my old neighbour was.
The reason for this detailed review is for new ppl who are looking ti buy there you should look else where. If you buy a place at a nice place Association really do work i have seen it after i moved out from there.Hopefully this helps someone.

I would recommend this management company to any associations in the market for a new management team. The staff is extremely responsive, professional, knowledgeable, polite and helpful. In dealing specifically Jennifer McCaw and Katie Zarr, I was impressed with their response time and then the amount of time they were willing to spend to get a real understanding of the issue at hand before finding a resolution to the problem. They were both great about following up and communicating the progress, without being asked, which was important to me. It’s nice to have a management company that is local to the area with managers that care enough to visit my property when there is a problem. Highly recommended.
