Keep in mind I have never been to South Oaks before and I happened to meet Kendra Jones (Sales person) she went over a few options I selected, she answered all of my questions and never made me feel rushed, she made me feel like I was an audience of one 😊. Let’s just say she gave me the information I needed to purchase a vehicle of my choice with out any pressure. Reason for Visit: Dodge Service

1. Lack of Clear Communication and Consistency:
My initial advisor, Robert, was unable to clearly explain the delay in diagnosing a check engine light. When I asked for clarification, he appeared visibly frustrated. This wasn’t a customer misunderstanding but a lack of clear explanation. As a first point of contact, it’s essential for Service Advisors to establish and maintain a positive relationship with customers. Robert fell short of this effort.

2. Reliable Follow-Up:
When another staff member Bobby stepped in, he was able to explain the issue well—but he did not follow through on promised updates. I only received updates when I persistently reached out. Customers should never feel they need to chase down information.

3. Prioritizing Accountability and Empathy:
There were discrepancies between what your staff communicated and what I was told by my vehicle protection provider, which is why I elected to retrieve my vehicle without moving forward with any service beyond the oil change I initially came in for. Ultimately, the lack of communication and inconsistent service across team members I engaged with eroded my trust in your business.

I recognize and understand the tall task your team has with operating in a fast-paced and busy environment; however, this makes it even more critical to approach customer interactions with accountability, professionalism, and care. Even when answers aren’t immediately available, honest and empathetic communication goes a long way.
