I understand repairs are to be made when entering as a new tenant, but some of the work was not carefully done, particularly in the areas of doors and the ability to close them easily, and the ability to hang items in closets and on towel racks with stability.

The situation with water is the functional thing that seems to need addressing on a regular or overall basis. Aside from the number of number or water outages, a roadmap of issues and plans for getting the consistent availability and temperature to an acceptable level could be posted as a semi permanent announcement on the app/website or as a memo of the known issues and status of repairs. Because I shave and shower early in the morning, I have to start the shower several minutes before entering to give the water time to get hot. And that time likely adds to the water bill that is paid directly with the rent. I'm adaptable to my living environment, but having a baseline of understanding of what to expect well ahead of time and the plan for "comfort" would be reasonable.

Overall I like the location, space, layout and many of the digital amenities, like online/app rent payment, key fob/mobile entry, Amazon Locker, laundry app access. There have been some security and convenience upgrades like extra lighting and door upgrades.

Management and facilities seem to be professional and reasonably responsive; I generally have my questions and requests addressed, considering the constant maintenance and upkeep.

I am writing to express serious concerns about discriminatory treatment by property management at Park Towers Apartments, specifically by Natasha Chamberlain. This treatment followed symptoms related to autism being displayed by a tenant.

Key Concerns:
1. Discriminatory Actions Following a Medical Incident:
• In August 2024, a tenant experienced a medical emergency on the property due to autism and was hospitalized. During the hospitalization, management was informed of the tenant’s autism but still issued a 10-day notice citing the incident as grounds for potential eviction.

2. Failure to Accommodate a Disability:
• Despite resolving the alleged violation and confirming with management that the eviction would not proceed due to it being disability-related, rent payments were refused, access to the resident portal was denied, and eviction notices were pursued.

3. Restricted Access and Maintenance Issues:
• Portal access was revoked, preventing rent payments and maintenance requests, a restriction not applied to other residents. Maintenance staff also reported issues with a supposed key mismatch that had never occurred prior to the medical incident, raising concerns of targeted discrimination.

4. Retaliatory and Discriminatory Behavior:
• Communication barriers with management have been significant, with voicemails unanswered and issues only addressed after escalation via email.

Additional demands, such as upfront rent payments and restricted access, began after autism symptoms were displayed.

Requested Resolutions:
• Fair treatment in all interactions with property management.
• Prompt repair of apartment issues.
• Clarification and resolution of the key mismatch issue to ensure the tenant’s security.

These actions reflect a pattern of retaliation and discrimination against someone with autism, violating their rights as a tenant. Immediate corrective actions and equal treatment under the law are necessary.

First time living in an apartment coming from living in houses in the south subs all my life and I don’t think it could get any better than where I live ..it had its kinks at first but we have an amazing property manager!! Without Argentina idk how it would be.. I’m so happy to have someone that listens and gets the job done without haste ..noticing a lot of changes around the property and it’s very satisfying to see all the upgrades!! Can’t wait to see what else is in store for our little community..

There has never been hot Water, and mold has grown in the buildings., and the water is constantly shut off. The water is not drinkable. There have been car break-ins and shootings on the balconies. Both property managers are slow and incompetent. What maintenance? the buildings are not clean people let their dogs urinate and crap all over the place. people hanging out in the hallways stairwells and in the parking lot. WHAT PROPERTY MANAGER. I BELIEVE THE BUILDINGS IS BEING MANAGED BY GHOST. Workers talking on their personal phones while working all while the tenants suffer, this place is a joke soliciting they say they have security but its a lie the buildings have caught on fire. random people coming to the doors of the tenants, all while the office staff whistle and twiddle their thumbs. IF YOU LIKE TO FEEL UNSAFE WASH UP IN BROWN AND WHITE WATER THAT IS LUKE WARM MOVE HERE

I have mixed feelings about Park Towers. On the downside, there are frequent car break-ins and stolen packages, and management has yet to address these issues effectively. Additionally, the cleanliness of the buildings is inconsistent, and water outages are a recurring problem. The rent seems high for the value offered, and I’m concerned that it will only increase further.

On the brighter side, the office and maintenance staff are consistently friendly and responsive. However, despite their efforts, the issues with security and maintenance overshadow these positive aspects. Overall, while the staff is great, the current problems make it difficult to justify the cost of living here.

Do not move here! This apartment complex is filthy and very unprofessional. The elevators have had urine on them, water pipes have busted, fire alarms are always going off, the water would get shut off every other week, there's always a domestic going on, the fire department and ambulance are always called, the trash overflow and garbage rooms are beyond unsanitary, cars are stolen, the downstairs doors were always broken compromising the safety of the residents, etc. Personally, a stranger walked right into my apartment as I was preparing for a nap. I called the office to report what happened and they ensured that the doors would be fixed. The doors were still unlocked months after the incident. This place is a piece of garbage. The bathrooms are always malfunctioning! The elevators barely work. They frequently got stuck!!! The washer and dryers operate properly when they want to! Bring a professional cleaning company upon move in or be prepared to scrub for the life of you because they do not clean/sanitize the units the right way. My apartment was filthy upon move in and I had to beg for a new refrigerator as the one that I originally received had red stains in it. The blinds were filthy and dirty. I had to beg for replacements for those. I threatened to put my belongings back on the moving truck and they promised they would fix the things I complained about. I should've just left to begin with. The heat in the winter from the heaters is horrible. Prepare to wake up with nose bleeds. The shower rods and sinks are RUSTED. The building is borderline unsafe and falling apart. Rent at your own risk. The pricing for these apartments not worth it. Look elsewhere! The halls always smell
Like weed. They overwork their staff. This place needs to be shut down! And please don't forget about the package theft if it's left in the lobby!! They let literally anyone move in here and wonder why it's not peaceful. The only building that they keep half way decent is the one with the rental office in it (A). I'm so glad I moved. And now a year later, they're putting fees on my credit about statements after I paid my balance and moved out. Slumlord of a company. The village should've been shut this place down! I had to leave my apartment because it smelled like smoke so bad because the tenant was barbecuing on the patio which is a fire hazard. I was afraid for my children and I safety here as we slept because you just don't know what to expect. I always had to think about how we would escape since we lived on the 3rd floor!

This complex is unclean very unsafe and now I have cps involved because my child is sick and in the hospital because I live in a mold infested apartment. The building has water damage everywhere.The case worker has contacted the board of health after I provided pictures and videos of the building. Management save the come into the office or call with concerns. The only thing you’re concerned about is the next person moving in. The apartments are unclean the hallways are unclean they shooting every other night. The case worker said they must be working with the building inspectors of Richton Park because I reported this to them a few times and they did nothing. So she’s going over their heads. She also found out the head manager is over cedar ridge apts as well. My child has Aspergillus I’m so upset. Please if you have kids or you want a truly clean apartment and surroundings don’t move here.

I applaud the new Management Team. I can see your interest in the residents and the improvements being made for our safety and comfort. Maintenance requests are being completed in a timely manner.

The common areas need more frequent cleaning. I am also aware that tenants can do a better job in assisting with the cleanliness of the hallways, refuse rooms and laundry room.

Keep up good the good job. Your efforts are noticed and appreciated.
