My water heater stopped working in my apartment in Pekin. This was my first maintenance request with Lahood Mgmt. John, their contractor contacted me hours after my submission and set an appt for the next morning. He arrived on time, diagnosed the problem, got the okay to replace the unit, shopped at 2 locations to find an adequate replacement, kept in touch with me the entire time, removed and disposed of the broken unit, installed and tested the new unit; while providing great conversation and kindness, all within 4hrs time!!! I've got hot water back and could not be more happy and satisfied with the service and outcome. As someone who has been a receiver of poor maintenance service in the past, and one who has worked in property management, I am most impressed. Thanks Lahood!!!

Two exterior stairway lights were not working at my condo that Lahood property management is in charge of. I put in a maintenance request and the problem was resolved quickly. Quality work! Excellent service! Thank you 👍

Do not recommend very unprofessional, will add random charges to your account and try to fight tooth and nail not to give your money back. Office is not helpful and often times are standoffish when you try to get help, shady company take your money else were! Unless you wanna deal with a company that charging your account for repairs and doesn’t hold landlord accountable instead enables them to trying to get every penny out of you I would find another property management company.

Nightmare dealing with these people. Seems communication doesn’t exist in their office. I’ve rented from them for more than 2 years, I’ve had to fix 90% of the issues myself. We haven’t had a working HVAC system for the entire time. Had an inspection done on it because the vents smelled like a dead animal and they came out, said it was filthy, unhealthy to breathe, infested with black mold, and then did nothing about it and kept claiming any repairs over 500$ need to be approved by the “landlord.” The water is so hard every faucet is corroded, we have to buy all drinking water. Again, black mold everywhere. It’s a duplex and they keep picking the craziest most ghetto people to move in who cause issues then leave suddenly. They’ve kept my unit listed apparently and over the years I’ve had random people scheduled for showings in the middle of my lease. Then after passing another yearly inspection of my spotless home, and another resigning of our lease- 3 weeks later they taped an eviction notice to our door. They filed an eviction. Why? Because they’re “selling the building but appreciate we’ve been good tenants” lmao. So if you want to risk being blind sided with getting kicked out of your home in the middle of winter randomly, or random people letting themselves in for showings, or major building code violations that never get fixed- then this is the company for you.

It was amazing they work with the tenants,they respond to maintenance request so fast it was an amazing experience the people at Lahood are very friendly and hospitable it was my pleasure to have lived there I would recommend Lahood property to anyone great people they just don’t build and maintain properties the build relationships Thanks

Save yourself the hassle and don’t even waste your time. Paid application fees and just kept getting the run around. Had to call repeatedly due to a lack of communication. Would call and be told no one was available to answer my questions. They had a house available that we were told repeatedly that the owner just wasn’t responding. All around a giant pain and not worth the time or money spent at all.

Horrible experience! I dealt directly with the owner, Joe Lahood. I gave him specific instructions how to lease my home.He leased it for less than I instructed to a tenant that was not qualified and never paid rent. I am now forced to evict them. I ask Lahood to assist me with the eviction and he has drug his feet aka done nothing. Now I am have to do it myself. My advice to all, do not hire this poorly ran incompetent property management LLC. Again, horrible experience!
