Absolutely the WORST place you could ever live or rent. PERIOD. Your not allowed to have company or your companies vehicle will be towed. They are rude and make up new rules for the park all the time. As soon as my 1 year is up we are moving. Worst place to ever stay. 0/10 recommend. New management all the time. Don’t waist your time or money. I started paying 1100 am now paying 1400 to stay in a trailer that’s brand new and already falling apart.

Do not considered living here. My recommendation is run!! I've had nothing but issues since moving here. Kids running around tearing stuff up in my yard. Can't ever get ahold of anyone is there's an issue. When you do get ahold of someone you get the run around. Nothing is ever resolved. Don't believe the incentives to move in. I've been here over 6mo and yet to received mine.

Beware of Northbrook Mobile Home Community – Unethical Practices and Intimidation Tactics!

I’ve lived at Northbrook for a while now, and let me tell you, things have gone completely downhill over the last year. Management used to be decent, but now it’s a nightmare. The community's practices have become downright unethical.

Instead of addressing resident concerns professionally, they rely on intimidation tactics. I’ve personally received phone calls where I was pressured and made to feel uncomfortable, as if their main goal is to bully people into compliance. This isn’t just one isolated incident either—there’s a pattern here, and it’s only getting worse.

If you’re a current resident and experiencing any of these issues, I highly recommend you contact corporate directly. The local management here is no longer trustworthy, and it seems they are more focused on enforcing ridiculous policies than maintaining the community.

Bottom line: Avoid Northbrook if you value peace of mind and ethical management. This place is not what it used to be!

I would like to personally thank Lisa Novotny at Northbrook MHC for going above and beyond for not only us but for the whole community She has done wonders in the short time she has been in control here, she has cleaned the place up, and definitely will do what she tells you thank you once again for everything. Also the maintenance guy Jerry has been great and is always there to stop and answer or help. We have an amazing team out here

This place was nice when I moved in, then cambio took over. Very rude people and I was late on rent a couple of times due to covid and all they could say is if you don't pay you will get evicted and that I should have got money for covid pay and they don't do that anymore. The kids here are horrible they bully little boys and girls all the time. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. And they are section 8 this dump while everyone else has to pay $920 for rent for a trailer. I'll be moving soon.

Horrible ownership. Pathetic excuse of management. They think this trailer park is a 5 star park just because they move in a couple over priced mobile homes. The people that work for this place have no respect and act like they're high and mighty working a salary job. Probably living in one of the trailers theirself. If you try to purchase a privately owned mobile home that is not owned by them they won't let you buy it unless it's from them. A sweet elderly lady has been trying to sell her deceased sisters trailer and they've been giving her the worst run around over it just because it's not a new trailer owned by them. They will not let anyone get approved to buy it. It's extortion and they should be humiliated to even say they run such a horrible place that screws people over the way they do.

DO NOT MOVE HERE TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!!!!!!!!
Recently moved here, and as I toured the place before moving in, on the surface everything seemed clean cut.
I moved in just a few weeks ago and as I was on the floor unpacking things, I found it apparent there were pet owners before me, because the carpet smelled like pet pee and cigarette ashes stains on the carpet in the main bedroom. First day, my bathroom door fell right off the hinges when I closed it, it was not screwed in correctly. Our master bathroom toilet does not flush. My 2 kids bedroom reek of cigarette smell. Parts of the trailer have obviously been poorly "fixed". Small things for example, no cabinet knobs, no toilet paper holders, no key to the back door, fan cord in living room is missing so cant use it or switch settings on it, there is also a huge wasp problem at my entrance so getting in and out of my trailer without getting chased by wasps is impossible. I have told the property manager that I have a handful of problems and was told only emergency will be a handled at this time because of covid 19. While I understand the stipulations because of the virus, these things should have been taken care of before having a family of 4 move in especially the carpetting. It clearly should have been replaced before us moving in.
The 2 problems they did fix that were considered emergency is the water heater wasn't heating at first, and my fuses kept blowing. Th fuses dont blow anymore, but if I want to do dishes take a shower or so laundry in the same day, it's not happening with this water heater. ONLY 1 PERSON CAN SHOWER A DAY. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.

considering they knew a family of 4 was moving in, they should have done what needed to be done, the smell, the carpet, the small things. It's very upsetting I'm stuck with a place that constantly smells like animal pee and cigarettes. That is my main problem. The other things I could get over but with everything else on top of it, it's very hard to ignore. The neighbors are extremely loud all day and night.

I hope things get better and I can edit this and leave a better review.

Edit; since it rained alot the whole place smells like mildew. Cool. I also an emergency at 9oclock at night and no one answered the phone and no one had an emergency maintenance number to call. Me and my boyfriend both called for an hour straight, and no answer.

Edit; they are supposed to come fix a few things today 10/29/20 I will update if they come or not.
Edit; they finally showed up and fixed our leaky sink 11/2/20

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!

Go up
