For closure, the home closed for the exact same amount we offered, and not a penny more. At the time of our offer, Tom advised ours was the first offer received, and remember they verbally accepted our contract, with the agreement that we would increase our earnest money. We were in the process of signing that paperwork (within hours of receipt as we had been out all day), when Tom called our agent to advise they accepted another offer. No opportunity to counter; no conversation, etc. What an interesting, eye-opening, devastating experience!

Can I give a 0 star? Wish I could. Would advise to stay away. Lack of professionalism. Do you want to do the legwork yourself? Lack of follow up and follow through. Agent did not check in during the week of closing to ensure everything was on track. Only received a text “confirming walkthrough”. Wait, you don’t call to check and see if there is anything I need, check in on my progress? Nope. Relator meets at walkthrough day of, 2 issues during the walkthrough that should have been completed had relator followed up. Promised to resolve after closing. And guess what? Didn’t. I had to ask twice. Due to covid relator not allowed to attend closing, understandable. Do you think I’ve heard from the relator since? Nope. Nothing. No congratulations you are closed. No check in, thank you, nothing. This is the 3rd home I have owned. And this is the worst relator I have experienced. Very disappointed in this experience. Regardless of personal relationship, there is a level of professional, integrity and ethical business practices that should be maintained. Not the case here. Stay away. I mean a relator is your fiduciary right? Wrong. LOL
