I have been renting properties managed by Young for the last 3 years and they have been nothing short of great. They were always shift to respond. Recently when we switched properties at the end of one lease, we had our second round of showings with Becky (sorry if that’s not the right spelling) and she was once again great and quick to respond.
Recently Richie, another agent who we had good encounters with in the past heard about the passing of our dog which crushed us. He took time out of his day to reach out with his condolences and dropped off a card. This really shows how much the whole team at young cares for their customers. 3 years of them being nothing but quick to respond and easy to work with. They go the extra step and I didn’t have to endure any of the common college rental horror stories any of friends who used some other smaller companies all went through.

I recommend avoiding ERA Young at all costs. They claim they've been in business for 50 years, yet they still haven't figured out how to act like a professional company. My group has rented from four different rentals in Glassboro and ERA is by far the least professional and most disorganized. The first day we moved in the rental was visibly dirty with floors leaving the bottom of your feet black. This wouldn't have been as much of an issue if they didn't charge a cleaning fee of $500 for a 900 sq ft apartment that was left in amazing condition compared to how it was given to us. This is a common trend for ERA after speaking to other renters. On top of the dirty house upon move- in we were also met with a broken AC for the entire month of august and a broken washer. Four times we've walked in on or had strangers just walk into the home for showings without any prior communication because they would just pass out the code to the lock box that contained keys to our home. It's honestly amazing they have so many good reviews considering I've never heard a good thing said about them. I wasn't even going to write a review until I saw Brian attacking Rowan parents bringing up legitimate concerns about the company.

**Just as a yearly reminder as you’re searching for your college house next year to try and avoid renting from Young ERA, They will take advantage of college students and take money out of there security deposit that they should not. As long as you leave your rental clean they can not take out a cleaning fee but they will still do it because they know most college kids won’t know their rights as a tenant. Very shady behavior that you wouldn’t expect from an actual rental company. Whoever responds to these google reviews are more worried about having bad reviews than he his about fixing issues within the company. As you seen from my initial review he completely ignored the fact that on more than 3 occasions strangers were given access to keys to our home without a realtor or even notice to us that people would be touring. On one of the occasions I walked out of my shower with a random family in my living room but again he can’t defend that so he completely ignored it. Maybe one day they will do better but for now look elsewhere.

I really don't even want to give one star.... I had inquired about a rental they posted and sent over my credit score along with other paperwork on June 26th. Since then I've been assigned 3 different realtors. (Kimberly Puglia, Richie Donnell, and Becky Harder). I've called, emailed, and texted every realtor sent to my phone. I haven't heard a response from anyone. I asked to speak with a manager and I was given his phone number...... Brian IS SOOOO UNPROFESSIONAL !!!!! He answered the phone saying yo!!! yo!!!! I was thrown off by that, I basically told him what was going on and he simply didn't care. He said he was really busy with something else and I can just use a different realty company...

Update: Just for the record again Brian you never said my name you said "YO , YO" THIS was my first time contacting you so how would you know my last name? You rushed me off the phone and said well find another realtor company when the listing is posted by you! Have a great day

It is extremely difficult to talk to a realtor with this company. After submitting the requested information numerous times, we still did not hear back from any realtor. However, we did get messages from someone asking how our experience was, which we responded by saying no realtor had contacted us. They said they would let someone know and that we would hear something soon, only to be followed up with another message asking about the experience. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They are horrible at communicating, and whomever answers the phones at the "office" isn't trained in proper customer service.

Been trying to contact them for 2 weeks. Every property we like is unfortunately by them. They ask me to send a screen shot of my credit score then they say ok looks good and give me the realtors number but no one responds. Idk how they get any business it's insane! Every realtor I talk to has told me to stay away from young reality because they don't respond and are impossible to work with!
