It was very cool! We took our son there for the first time when he was 5 years old. The owner was very patient and knowledgeable. My husband and I had a great time looking at Roman coins and fossils. Our son still collects coins. Definitely worth going out of your way to visit.

Great experience. My use case was that I wanted to offload my grandfather's coin collection so it was no longer in my basement and perhaps could provide some funds to look after him.
The owner was quick, helpful, and patient as he sorted through the coins and told me what he would pay for anything above face value.
It also looks like quite the interesting store with figures and art from Africa, Asia, Europe, etc. If history, coins, stamps etc are your thing, absolutely check this place out!

Such a cool shop, and Dr.Saslow is extremely knowledgeable on every item in the shop. He's really helpful and willing to answer any questions; I had a few since I never really bought antiquities before and he was clear and easy to talk to. An honest guy and a really awesome shop all around.

I ended up buying two coins from ~30ad and I was very pleased with my experience.

DR Saslow was professional honest and fair in the dealing with me. His knowledge of coins, stamps and autographs is second to none. Best dealer I have ever dealt with, Would strongly recommend him to any buyer or seller.

I bought two coins from this man at a coin show. He claimed they were mint and i brought them to another dealer and he informed me that they were heavily cleaned which makes the coins worth about scrap. Other people had the same opinion that the coins were cleaned too. Saslow sold them to me for a little more than 3 times what they are actually worth. I was a new collector and i feel Dr. Saslow either took advantage of that or doesn't even know what he's selling. In any case, I would not buy from him again and would recommend others not to as well.

I sold some coins and bills today.I felt bullied abit and hustled! I never get bullied or hustled! I was recommended to try another shop in Irvington! I wanted to give the local businesses! I won't be back!

I came in with a collection of silver, I'm happy with his knowledge of coins and with his honesty. I will be back in the future with more for sure!
