Terrible. We walk in to our rental to find it under construction, you can’t make this up. Plastic sheeting on the floors, bathroom gutted and the bathtub is full of sheetrock debris. Do not ever book any place anywhere with this awful company. This is what I payed good money for? Called customer service and got no help so far. Been an hour since I called the automated line.

We recently rented a home in Colorado through VRBO, but it was managed by Vacasa, and we had an absolutely awful experience. An unexpected snowstorm made it impossible to reach the property on our check-in night, so we found alternative accommodations. When we reached out to Vacasa, they assured us the driveway would be plowed that night. The next morning, we arrived to find the driveway completely untouched, buried under more than 9 inches of snow.

Vacasa then told us that with a proper 4x4 vehicle, we could access the home—something that was not mentioned in the VRBO listing. Buried in the fine print of an email sent days before check-in, they included this requirement, but even with a 4x4 vehicle, the property was inaccessible. Their solution? Park at the top of the hill and walk down. This was completely unrealistic, as there was no safe parking, and we were traveling with elderly family members (ages 82 and 81). Asking them to navigate an unplowed hill in the snow would have been reckless.

The customer service was shockingly unhelpful. Instead of finding a reasonable solution, they refused to take responsibility, claiming they have no control over what is posted on VRBO—an absolutely absurd excuse. This is a classic bait and switch.

We ended up securing alternative, safe accommodations outside of Vacasa, and we will never book with them again. If you're considering renting through them, don't. If you're a homeowner thinking about listing with them, think twice—they do not care about guests and provide little to no support when issues arise. Terrible experience, terrible company.

The only bathroom was under construction and they put no effort into finding another place to stay. After speaking with multiple people we were finally able to find another place without any help. The only person with any ability to do anything that we spoke to was extremely rude and dismissive. Still waiting on reimbursement. I wouldn’t even consider staying again. Avoid at all costs.

So far this has been the worst experience I have ever had with a vacation rental. Rental was not ready until 3 hours after my checkin time with zero communication. We arrived at 4 PM to a dirty condo. I called 800 number and said someone locally would reach out. That has never happened. We arrived at 630 to find cleaners still working on the place. On top of that the condo is advertised as having access to a pool and we have no way of getting in. I’ve called. Sent emails. Called 800 number. I have had zero response to my many attempts.

We booked a Vrbo rental in Winter Park, CO, that was hosted by Vacasa. There was zero communication from this company despite me sending them 4 messages. I finally had to cancel the booking one day prior to the cancellation deadline, and I was only able to cancel because Vrbo called them with me on the phone. Terrible customer service. I would not book a vacation with this company.

Very good service and communication. Our spacious penthouse Trademark unit had great views of the ski area, along with 2 decks (one for bbq, one for hot tub). Was easy to get to the ski base area in a 7 minute walk, or 5 minute bus ride. Would definitely use this rental company again.

Same company as turnkey vacation rentals or they have absorbed them in a kind of merger. Changed name/brand because of poor customer service, probably losing business. Lookup turnkey vacation rentals to see what kind of service they provide....love to cancel on people, don't return refunds, often doesn't clean properly. Do not rent from this company

Booked Cozens Pointe C101, in Fraser CO for 12/26/21 - 12/30/21 - two months in advance, and apparently, the owner is allowed to cancel the agreement whenever they feel like it! They cancelled our rental agreement on 11/23/21 because they ‘forgot' to block it off for Christmas! Will never book with Vacasa again!
