AVOID WINTER PARK ESCAPES — TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Save yourself the trouble and book elsewhere.

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AWFUL. It’s a call center that bounced us around - on the phone 6 times for dirty rooms, unstable furniture, and a filthy hot tub no one ever cleaned.

REVIEWS ARE MISLEADING. Their site only allows 3 to 5 star ratings and filters out bad ones. My honest 3-star review (which deserved a 1) was never posted.

Our stay at 155 Whistlestop was a mess:

***Used band-aids, dirty sheets, and leftover junk from past guests

***We had to wash blankets, change sheets, and fix an unsafe bunk bed ourselves

***The hot tub and balcony — a big reason we booked — were too filthy to use and never cleaned

Management is useless. It took 3 follow-ups to hear from a manager, who offered 3 lousy options before settling on a pathetic $150 off a $2,200 stay.

Bottom line: New property, great location — but run by a dishonest, careless company. NEVER again.

We stayed at Grand Park Hay Meadows. The unit for very spacious with only 6 of us but it would be ideal for more guests. Three separate living areas/dens allowed everyone to do their own thing. Some watched tv on one level, others played the shuffleboard on the top floor while one worked quietly downstairs on their computer. Location was very convenient to the resort and loved the discounts offered by Winter Park Escapes. My first time in Winter Park but son and family have been multiple times. Their second visit with WPE and won’t book with anyone else.

We rented a Timber Fox unit Christmas week. Everything was wonderful. Condo was fabulous…everything we needed was provided. Heated primary bath floor was a luxury. Never felt cramped with 5 adults. Garage was tight, but was much appreciated. Location was super convenient for walking, driving and using the Lift service. Communication was great. We would definitely rent again.

Our first visit to Winter Park was unforgettable, and we absolutely fell in love with this charming house! It’s the perfect retreat for families. The cozy atmosphere made us feel right at home, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. After a long day of skiing, the large hot tub was the ideal way to unwind – spacious enough for our two families to relax and enjoy together. The kids had a blast in the game room, playing video games and ping pong. There was so much to enjoy, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Plus, it’s just a quick drive to Winter Park Resort. Highly recommend!

We stayed at New River luxury villa 242 in Winter Park March 22nd thru 26th. Couch was broke, no bedding for fold out, comforter in one of the bedrooms had stains on it, hair found in shower, hot tub filter broke so very dirty, clothes from previous guests left in drawers. We notified owners March 23rd of all this! Management will not still have a conversation with us about all the problems! Very disappointing!!! They e-mail and tell us on phone that they’ll let management know and we never get phone calls back!

Modern beautifully decorated condo! Plenty of towels, dishes, cooking pans. Great views from the windows and balcony. The furniture and beds were comfy. The area was safe and the underground parking garage secure. We enjoyed the awesome hot tub as well! Loved everything about It!

My family and I have stayed at several Winter Park Escapes rentals over the years, and every visit has been great. The homes are spotless, well-maintained, and thoughtfully prepared for guests, making our stays comfortable and stress free.
The management team is incredibly responsive- any issues we've encountered were addressed quickly and professionally. Check-in and check-out are seamless which helps make the whole experience smooth from start to finish.

We highly recommend Winter Park Escapes for anyone looking for a top-notch rental experience in the area!

We booked one of their townhouses directly through their website and had an absolutely amazing stay the week of Christmas. The location was amazing with multiple restaurants and shops within walking distance. We were also only 3 miles from Winter Park Ski Resort where we went skiing during the week and only a few miles from the Tubing and Ice Skating rink in Fraser.

The townhouse was very nice and allowed for all 7 of us to sleep comfortably and the living space was big enough for us to be much more comfortable than any hotel. Having a garage was nice as well just took a bit of skill in the snow to back into it but was a life saver when it was 4 degrees and snowing outside. The views from the living room and top outside patio were amazing as well.

The communication was great with detailed instructions to get to the townhouse and into the unit once we were there. We would highly recommend staying at one of their townhouses and may even look at one of the ski in/ski out places for our next trip.
