Love my apartment and the Willow Park team! I was freaking out about my a/c blowing out warm. Put in a request for maintenance & contacted Sarah! Maintenance, Dan, was there the next day to take care of everything!! Thank you thank you!!

Always a pleasure talking with Sarah!! Maintenance always gets the job done as well!!

I have enjoyed my stay in the Willow Park community. It is a quiet neighborhood and I feel safe. Maintenance staff are very helpful, friendly and professional. Jamie has been easy to work; helpful and understanding whenever I had any issues. I really appreciated getting an email reminder to pay rent last month; given that life has been more hectic during this pandemic I completely forgot! I stopped by the office to personally thank her. Sarah, the leasing agent has also been very helpful, friendly and professional. I would recommend this community to others as well!

Our maintenance crew was on my issue within 30 minutes. He also touched base with me before he arrived assessing the situation and telling me when he would be here. I had to go to work leaving them to come in with my cat and puppy dog feeling so safe that they would be fine. Thank you Willow Park for employing such personable caring people! Issue solved!

i wouldn't recommend willow to anyone. the first month or two were fine, but than we started having issues. in the past month we have had the maintenance department break our door down WHILE MY HUSBAND AND I WERE HOME. when it was brought to Jamie's attention she made an excuse about the size of the print being too small for the crew to read that i said to call to make an appointment( even though they do this for a living!) we are starting a family and i do not want to bring my baby into this place at all.

we will definitely NOT be renewing our lease, wish we weren't stuck here for another 6 months.

I've lived in these apartments for 4 years. When I first moved in, they were perfect. Nice people, nice upkeep. Now, it's a totally different story. They have raised my rent on a one bedroom apartment every year, so much so that I can rent a two bedroom cheaper elsewhere. It's very hard to get maintenance to come out. My building had a tree fall on the roof, about 3 months ago when we had a storm, and it STILL has not been fixed. They are turning into a slum lord. The manager, Jaime, is an extraordinarily RUDE person, who is impossible to talk to. The quality of neighbors and service has gone tremendously. But the biggest issue at these apartments, and I'm sure their locations in Belleville and Fairview heights have the same problem, the manager Jaime. I cannot warn you enough to stay far away from her and all of the properties she manages. She will make your apartment life hell.

When I first moved here in 2012 this was a really nice community. However, within the last year my family have been harassed to no end. Swansea police was great during the whole time. Management did absolutely nothing. We were concerned for our safety.
RENT: I was realed in by the monthly special. I moved in paying $545 for a one bedroom which was fine. As of today I now pay $680 because the rent increases every year because of water and trash. It was not safe in this community for us and the rental increases should be a crime. Oh yeah, there is no grace period on paying late. After three days late be prepared to pay an extra $100.

My husband and I have lived here since Dec of 2018 have never had any real issues before now. We are getting ready to move out. We were told that our last month's rent could come out of the deposit that we gave them. Now that it's the last month that we are here they say that it can't come out til we leave and that we will accrue late fees until then which is ridiculous. This place just tries to get as much money as possible from you. It's not worth the rent payment in my opinion. If you are looking for an apartment DONT GO TO WILLOW PARK.

I lived there for 5 years. The neighbors varied from year to year, one year (2010) it seemed they were letting anyone with a pulse move in, which allowed those tenant's friends and families to cram into the apartments and cause problems at the pool. A pool pass policy and guest limit were instituted that year which cleared up a lot of the issue.
The building exteriors were kept clean, well lit, and in good repair. The maintenance crew were always wonderful the few times I had to call.
The head manager is not the most friendly person to deal with, she wasn't downright mean, but you never mistook her for someone to have drinks with, either. She however was very fair, and if you reported something amiss in the neighborhood, she kept an eye on it and even took action a few times, evicting some less-than-desireable tenants.
In the winter, the walkways and parking lot were always well salted and in the other seasons, the lawn was very well maintained.
My biggest issue was the fact that there was never any incentive to STAY in that apartment. The rent went up every year. $660, 675, 705, 725, 745, and my final lease was being offered to me at $805 a month although a new tenant could move in for the original $660-680. I felt this was unfair as a tenant that had always paid his rent on time, never had complaints against him, kept a very clean apartment, and didn't annoy the office with petty complaints. I left because if I was going to pay $800+ for rent, I could go elsewhere and get more for my money. I'm not real estate savvy, but I never understood the logic in charging good tenants more every year, while cutting a break to the new, unknown ones.
Upon moving out, I received my security deposit, but $55 was taken for "damages." I had neighbors that had carpets torn to shreds, holes kicked in walls, and filth everywhere, yet I was being charged for removing (but saving for reinstallment) a towel bar, and the typical pin holes from picture hanging. Aside from the wear and tear associated with occupying a space for 5 years, I'd say I kept the place relatively pristine as well as assuring my carpet was steam cleaned.
The bottom line is that I would live there again, although, not for more than one lease term.
