We were interested in looking at cabins in the local mountains and reached out to Willie Peterson - a realtor whom we had met a couple of times through good friends of ours.

We met Willie at a local coffee shop, and he came bearing printouts of options in a price point I had mentioned, and containing some of my "needs" (a deck, some seclusion and pine trees.) He explained pros and cons to each type of purchase. Over the next month my husband and I stalked places online and finally made appts to go view cabins. Willie walked us through the properties and pointed things out that were good and maybe not so good.

We ended up putting in an offer on a cabin residing on Forestry Service land. There are a lot of rules to be followed with FS land "recreational use" cabins and Willie helped us navigate the unknown territory. He was available by phone call, text and email. Willie's team kept us informed of progress and what was needing to be done and when in regards to financing and escrow.

Overall the process went smoothly and we are excited to spend with our family at our new cabin.Thanks Willie, for helping me achieve my dream (on a budget!) cabin!

I found Willie through my Schools First Federal Credit Union benefit of paying significantly reduced commissions which inevitably saved me thousands of dollars. Willie still treated us as top priority, being responsive, knowledgeable, and understanding at all times. My house being sold proofed to encounter many hurtles and challenges which Willie tackled head on. He provided options, clarity, guidance, and sound judgement. I loved how patient he was with my 1000 questions I asked whether it be through text or calls, from dusk till way past dawn. He did market research on our homes worth based off sales in the area, and after his research he felt our home would be worth way more than I ever could have imagined it would be worth. We ended up closing just 10k under that which far exceeded any expectations I could have had. I appreciate Willies can do attitude and the way he communicated to my wife and I with respect, kindness, care, and it really allowed me to trust him and his brokerage. It is hard to find people in the real estate space because you feel like people are always trying to take advantage of you. But I never felt that with Willie. I think he is a genuine guy with years of experience in this industry. Will help us find our home! I highly recommend using him as a realtor. He grew up in San Diego and has a lot of local knowledge of all the many different neighborhoods here. We initially wanted to live in neighborhoods that we couldn't realistically afford and he end up finding an area that would fit our needs, commute, and other aspects of a community that we wanted to live in.

His communication was very professional and helpful. As a first time home buyer, there were things that I did not understand about the long process, and he would make sure to take the time to explain it to me, even though sometimes he was repeating himself. He helped me stay informed by ensuring that I had a firm understanding of what he was trying to communicate before moving onto the next point. His patience made this whole process a lot less stressful.

Additionally, his schedule was very flexible and he was willing to meet up with this us for last minute showings and meetings. My husband and I didn't have the highest budget for a home, but Will always made us feel like a high priority client.

Lastly, Will was just an easy person to get along with. It did not feel like extra work having to meet up with him for appointments and it made the home buying process a lot more enjoyable. We have been living in our home for about a month and are so happy to be raising a family here. Thanks Will!
