I want to give 5 stars specifically to Jose on the maintenance team. Jose has taken care of a number of repairs over the years I've lived here. He's always kind, responsive, and friendly. He's incredibly respectful and always takes the time to answer questions and make sure residents understand what's going on with their unit. Give this man a well-deserved raise!

Worst community. I am a current resident and there are honeybees in my apartment which bites me and I raised an issue regarding it. The maintenance office does not respond nor the leasing office. Miss Barbara in the leasing office been rude when spoke to her about the issues as there is no maintenance office where we can go and see a person. The phone numbers given do not work nor they give us a call back.

1 bedroom apartment overall not bad the kitchen is too small and only has 1 tiny drawer. Some cabinet doors make no sense way too slim of an opening. You will need a bakers cart of some sort and additional racks for storage.

Maitenance is terrible. Not sure if it’s a staffing issue or the guys themselves probably both. They don’t come when they say they will after multiple calls and when they do come it’s random when nobody is home or a terrible time then the process starts all over again for weeks/months.

Never finished a paint job, took months to fix neighbor roach issue, bee issues, leaking, a/c not working well enough to keep up with heat. The list goes on and only because they don’t show up and issues pile up.

Expected way more for the price (and it’s only going up). It’s a nice neighborhood for sure but if there is an issue it’s hard to get support.

“My Living Experience at Whitehall Gardens’ Community”

I’ve lived here at this community for almost 7 years. Next year, March 2022 will mark the seventh year. I had no major problems living here. The property manager, Andrea is a very professional individual with a kind and positive attitude. She knows what she is doing and she strives very hard to get the job done as quickly as possible for tenants, A+ for Andrea!

I had no major problems with the apartment. It is well maintain by the maintenance crew who are, also, very professional and kind with a positive attitude. I just adore how neat/ orderly the community is kept. Any repairs I needed in my apartment, the maintenance crew solved it immediately. My living quarters- kept in good condition by the crew.

Overall, this is a very nice and well maintained community for anyone who is looking for an affordable, clean and quiet place to dwell.

The maintenance team is amazing! I unfortunately did not get the man's name that was working with me but we had some water damage happening on the ceiling in our bedroom and they were quick to act to fix the problem. Not only did they fix the problem, they painted over the water spots without being asked! A million thank yous to the maintenance team!

Tenant for 4 years, here's our experience at Whitehall.

There aren't many issues or complaints regarding the apartments themselves. The kitchen for the one bedroom is very small, but that's about it.

No matter what they tell you, you will be able to easily hear your neighbors, both next to and above/below you. The walls are very thin and do not suppress any noise.

Maintenance is a hit or miss. You'll have cases where they show up the next day and fix the issue immediately. Other days, they'll completely ignore your request. We had a case of a mushroom growing in our bathroom, and the maintenance worker sprayed it with mildew spray and left. There's also a lot of questionable work they've done, mainly hack-job fixes.

Andrea is the worker in the leasing office. I, unfortunately, do not have any nice things to say about her. We had neighbors who would get into screaming fights and slam doors and walls at 3am, called the cops on them multiple times, and Andrea didn't seem to care to do much to address the issue.

We just moved out this past month, and in the process had left some items in our apartment that we were slowly moving into our new home. During this time, workers came into the apartment while it was still ours without our permission, and STOLE ITEMS that belonged to us. When I brought the issue up to Andrea, she didn't seem to care and said she'd ask around, but did not seem concerned that her workers were stealing from tenants whatsoever.

If you're considering moving here, I'd highly recommend against it. There are plenty of other apartment complexes you can choose from in the Somerset area. We paid around $1,300 in rent, so you can see how much they increased prices for new tenants lately.

I’ve been living here for almost 7 years now! Nice sizable apartment for the price!! The cosmetic look of the place is very dated and not modern at all but hey, for the price, I wouldn’t expect any different. It’s pretty quiet and everyone minds their business, which I like! I am content for the most part. My ONLY issue is that during rainstorms my ceiling leaks!!! I have complained several times. They claimed to have fixed it, but just recently it has started to leak again and now onto my bed!!! I am a super neat/clean freak, so naturally this problem is freaking me out! The main maintenance man is Really nice and usually prompt with fixing any issues I have, but this particular issue is a huge problem!! Water brings mold, so naturally this is concerning for me! I would give the place 5 stars but honestly I can’t!
