When my wife and I married 7 years ago we had two condos that we wanted to rent out. We were nervous about becoming a landlord, so we researched property management companies and selected White House Property Management to manage our units.

Rashin and her team at White House are extremely professional and provided full-service management of our properties. She answered all of my questions and put me at ease right away. She was very knowledgeable and made the process a breeze. Rashin was so amazing to work with, she was prompt, detail oriented, and more than that, seems to really care about what she is doing.

Whether the unit required minor maintenance to larger projects requiring rebuilding kitchens, etc., her team was able to tackle the problem and provide economical solutions in very efficient time frames.
Knowing this and how her team will follow up with any issues, is a GREAT COMFORT!

She seems to always goes out her way to take care of her client. They pay attention to detail and get things done right. I highly recommend their management services.

About 10 years ago, I was attempting to manage our 4-plex unit all by myself. In the process, I let myself be taken advantage of by tenants, including no rent increases, skipped rents, out of control repairs, etc. That’s when I was introduced to Rashin Amini of Whitehouse Property Management. Initially I had qualms about trusting the property management function to a 3rd party; but it didn’t take long for me to realize the benefits of handing over that function to a fulltime professional property manager. Over the years I have found Rashin and Ali to be proactive in representing my landlord interests: Rents are collected on time, tenant delinquencies are dealt with promptly and professionally, and rents are adjusted annually. They are prompt in responding to tenant requests for repairs or upgrades; and can be relied upon to satisfy such requests in a cost-effective manner. They have the ability to handle larger apartment complexes; today they are managing over 20 units for me. Engaging Whitehouse Property Management has been one of my smartest decisions.

Very unprofessional, sloppy, lousy, incompetent, and rude company.

I had to seek out a property management company to rent out my condo when I found out I had to leave the country for an over-seas work assignment. I only had a few months to find a property manager, prepare my place for rental, and place the rental ads. I decided to go with White House Property Management (WHPM) since my initial interactions with the property manager, Rashin, were pleasant and she seemed reliable and responsive.

Once the contract was signed and Rashin began advertising my property on Craigslist, things began to go downhill very quickly. I spent some time taking good quality pictures of my property that emphasized the attractive floor plan and served as good advertising photos. When Rashin made the ad on Craigslist I checked the link and the pictures were uploaded with such low quality and size that the pictures were approximately 1 inch by 1 inch when the viewer clicked on the pictures. The ad was also abundant with misspellings that made it very unprofessional. In addition, the address link on the map led the viewer to an incorrect property location. In addition to the property location being plain wrong, this was even more of an issue because my property is located across the street from a lake and again, this was another attractive feature of my property that I wanted to highlight to prospective tenants in the ad. When I tried to explain the importance of good quality pictures and correct property location in the ad to Rashin, she was very annoyed that I was bothering her with these petty requests and made it very clear that any further requests or communication with her was unwelcomed. After being unsuccessful in getting her to fix her ads, I had to go and make my own ads on Craigslist with misspellings corrected, location corrected, and pictures of my property that a viewer can actually see and make out. I would then have to forward the responses that I got for the ad to Rashin, hoping she would follow-up on them. This was all supposed to be what I was paying them for. I would have fired Rashin and WHPM in a heartbeat from the onset but I was forced to stay with them due to my hasty departure. I ended up renting out my property for a couple hundred dollars below market value due to the scarcity of prospective tenants that WHPM was able to attract.

During my time away it would take several emails to get a response from Rashin when I needed something. And her responses were flat-out rude and as short as possible. Perhaps she knew I was away and had no choice but to put up with her and anything she wanted to do. There were many other instances in which I was appalled with their unprofessionalism but writing about them all here would make this review too lengthy. In any case, when I returned from my work assignment I fired WHPM as soon as I could.

Avoid this company at all costs, it will be a waste of your money and you will be left questioning who is writing whose paychecks. Don’t be fooled by the seemingly pleasant interactions at the beginning, they will all change to the opposite as soon as you sign the contract with them and they have placed a tenant in your property.
