I appreciate that they are always on top of lawn care and are making attractive upgrades, such as repainting entryways and the brick exterior. The maintenance people are great, friendly, and very responsive! The apartments that have been updated are very nice. Some cons are that the parking is not close to your apartment door in many apartments (not all), there are not laundry rooms in each building, there is only one recycling bin far away which discourages recycling, and the neighbors are permitted to feed the squirrels which leads to squirrel infestation.

I'm writing to express my concern about a neighbor who consistently smokes marijuana in their residence and out side in front of the common entrance . The smoke frequently enters my home, causing discomfort and health issues for my family, particularly my children, who suffer from breathing problems. The constant exposure to secondhand smoke is exacerbating their conditions, and I'm worried about the long-term effects on their health. I understand that marijuana may be legal, but I believe it's essential to consider the impact on neighboring families, especially those with young children. Its for almost 24/7 and we are always closing the doors and staying inside.I urge the community management to address this issue and find a solution to ensure a healthy environment for all residents.

I came to know about Westgate Garden at Parsippany from one of my friend, already a resident here, & he introduced me to the Community Team, who manages entire process.
I was still in India & it was about a month for me to reach in New Jersey, must say @Ashley G- you are Awesome!! - you managed every thing from documentation to the movement formalities, apartment allocation, & it was all , so clear , transparent & superb process.
The apartment i moved in, was properly cleaned, newly painted, new flooring, & is spacious enough for me & my family.
The neighborhood is good, & community has very friendly residents though it has been just 2 weeks but it seems, I have well settled in .

I am living in apartment 95 where heat is not working properly and I complain many times but they don’t want to fix it because it’s expensive also oven is not working overall worst place is live and staff is so rude also they allowed dogs and one one dog from next apartment is barking all the day and I have complained many times but management is not doing anything

The management is worst and they dont respond to calls if you have any problem especially Jim never respond to calls. Ashley simply says talk to Jim only person he responds is Joe but no use.
Only they increase rent every year.

I stayed in Westgate Gardens for 7 years. Initially we had leasing officer--Stacey & Maintenance Manage-Joe who were very good. I enjoyed staying in the community during that period. However, from past few years, we have leasing officer--Ashley who is very rude. When I moved in I had paid for the mailbox keys to USPS. When I left the apartment, I had handed over the mailbox keys which she lost. After that she sent an email staying that I will be charged for replacing the mailbox lock which I had paid & was not given by Westgate. So be Cautious while dealing with her.

Lived here for two years. Joe is awesome with maintenance. However, the buildings definitely are showing their age. Only air conditioning unit is in the living room so can can quite hot in the summer. Rent was increased significantly recently and I did not renew my lease.

This was good community but since last 1-2 years this is not as good as before. There are many problems: the management forces ~$160 for swim pool in every lease renewal and the best part is there is NO pool in this community. The pool is located far in some other community which does not have any chair or good place to take shower. The maintenance was good couple of years back but now maintenance guys talk like they are doing any favor. They don't know how to talk with tenants. I stayed there for 5 years and still they deduct door repairs charges from security deposit.
