Opinions and Average Rating

This company has 3744 reviews on Google My Business, with an average rating of 3.9/5 stars. Customers generally appreciate the mall's large size and variety of stores, as well as on-site amenities such as Target and the movie theater. However, some users have noted that the mall has declined over the years and is now mostly filled with cheap knockoff clothing stores.

One reviewer mentioned that the mall used to be fun to visit but has since experienced a decline. They believe that the Target and movie theater are helping to keep the mall open despite the closure of some businesses. Another user described the mall as "really huge" but expressed disappointment in the selection of stores, stating that many businesses are closed.

Like all other malls now at days, this one is just about empty. Also, like other malls, it's filled with a lot of stores for cheap knockoff clothing and accessories. This mall used to be fun to visit ,so it's sad to see how it's declined. I think the Target and movie theatre is what's helping to keep it open.

Absolutely dead ghost town mall. Just the anchor Target store may have business and the Falling prices place but not a place to spend a day. Not sure of the movie theater as I don't go there.

If there was a way to give a negative star I would, but not to the west valley mall, to a very specific establishment; the arcade Tilt. Tilt, under the company nickels and dimes, has treated its employees and its customers with the upmost disregard for the law and of health code regulations. As someone who has seen the absolute disgusting conditions that the games are kept in and the abuse of their employees. The games are decades old and do not get properly up kept nor maintained, there are also many areas with water damage and leaking. Due to the leaking there is black mold in the roof that the company has done nothing about. This company does not allow their employees to take breaks, which is against California laws. I have seen exhausted and over stimulated employees collapse because they don’t have the time to eat or rest. I personally believe that this company needs to be sued and prosecuted. There is so many more things I could go on about with this company and I will be advocating for us to take action to stop the harassment of their hard working staff.

The mall feel quite empty. There' a food court, only some of them are still open. The same with the mall, some store are closed, it affected the mall's life. There is Macy's and Target in each side of the mall.

We live in Tracy but Instead of shopping at Tracy Valley Mall we need to go to other places because there's non other store aside than Macy's . Why ? When we move here in 2004 Tracy Valley Mall was lively that every saturday we brought our grandkids to play go around eating or shopping and has a lot of stores . Now it's so quite that you can feel like not a shopping Mall anymore.

Tracy, Mountain House, Lathrop, and Manteca have more people than ever. The under-utilization of this mall is bewildering, because there isn’t much else to do around here. No one likes driving all the way to Modesto or Pleasanton, let’s bring West Valley Mall back to relevance!
