Love living here! Very peaceful and quiet gated community located in a great part of Lancaster. The grounds are kept very clean, the maintenance crew is quick to handle any issue they may arise and the front office folks are amazing. I recently moved from Colorado, Melissa was absolutely amazing helping me get set up for my new life in California! She has excellent communication and genuinely cares, she helped me through the entire process making it as stress free as possible and once I arrived in California I was not disappointed. We looked at many places before moving and I’m 100% satisfied with our decision choosing West Oaks to call home. 5 stars!

I live here as of writing. My car was stolen from inside the complex overnight. Shattered glass was left on the ground. Management refused to send an email to other residents asking for any information. They’d rather hide this than help their residents. My advice, make sure your car insurance covers theft if you choose to live here.

West Oaks is a beautiful place. It’s clean and the scenery is stunning. The rent office lady named Mrs. Maureen is just wonderful! She’s such a pleasure to be around, and is a big help to those around her. It’s also pet friendly; so when you come home from a long day at work you get to see the cute faces of animals! Overall, it’s a nice apartment complex.

West Oaks is a great place for singles, partners and young families alike. The complex is beautiful and the amenities are looked after and maintained all year around. The property manager, Maureen, is amazing and so welcoming to everyone, including pets.

Ebony, Erica, and Jason are wonderful. The few problems we had were fixed immediately. Ebony and Erica will help you with whatever you need and are extremely approachable. I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews on here, but from my personal experience it has all been positive. My husband and I moved here from Arizona this past summer; we leased a non renovated apartment for a short time with the intention of finding residence closer to L.A. However, we like it so much we are staying and will be moving into a renovated unit.

WEST OAKS WARNING STATY AWAY!!! This apartment complex is not the home style friendly apartment complex it use to be before the new owners took over December 2016. My wife and I lived here for the last 18 months and never had any issues with employees or management. Now that the new owners have taken over the rent has increased significantly and their staff and management are very rude and unprofessional to say the least. Employees and management lie, as this was the issue in my case. I have rented 5 apartments, condos, and houses in the last 12 years and have never had an issue with my security deposit. I WOULD ADVISE YOU TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX. IF YOU DO DECIDE TO RENT FROM THEM JUST MAKE SURE TO TAKE PICTURES BEFORE AND AFTER YOU MOVE OUT TO AVOID ANY CHARGES THESE THIEVES WILL CHARGE YOU!

My wife and I recently moved to these apartments just prior to the renovations. Had they told us that we would have to under these conditions we would not have chosen West Oaks. Twice water has leaked from rhe apartment above into our apartment once was from a recent toilet that was just installed. Rhe construction noise is awful and yes managment should be more professional. Don't move here.

This complex is well maintained and I have nothing but good things to say about the staff. They are excellent at communicating and are very responsive to emails and maintenance requests.
