We absolutely enjoy living here the view is amazing . The staff is very friendly and responsive. Troy is a very knowledgeable maintenance manager and is always on top of your requests. He is great at his job.

Great community, very friendly people and amazing staff! I lived in quite a few places in San Francisco Bay Area, and this one is definitely the best one so far. The complex is located within walking distance from the Downtown Tiburon and numerous gorgeous parks and hikes. There is plenty of parking spaces, and it feels safe to live you car for a night without having to worry that it will be broken into. The buildings are your standard Bay Area buildings with somewhat thin walls, but the views you get from your patio are mind-blowing!

Community management and maintenance teams are simply awesome. They are on top of their game, and they make sure to resolve any inquires in the shortest time possible. Personal thanks to Raj and Nelson! Gentlemen, you rock!

I’m a current resident and my experience mirrors that of Lauren. There was mold in my unit that I pointed out repeatedly. I had to move out of my unit for a month and Essex promised to reimburse me - and then wouldn’t. The mold has since returned. They also turned off my ability to pay rent and then tried to evict me. Check out other units around Tiburon and avoid Vista Belvedere.

9/21/24 update
A few additional points:
-The community managers mentioned in the 5-star review are no longer at Vista Belvedere. I've lived at the complex about 6 years and Misheel is the 4th or 5th community manager. I lost count!
-In addition to rent, there are also monthly charges for water, sewer, trash, hot water, and a service charge. So ask in advance about an estimate (I pay $200+)
-I'm still owed reimbursement for the mold move-out last year
-I was told I wouldn't be evicted since Essex owed me money, Essex filed eviction action in Marin Court, and then Essex dismissed the eviction action on the court date. So make sure you get everything in writing.

Easy process for the technically inclined. I like the service and ease of viewing properties. I had 5 to see and was in and out in about 30 minutes. Thanks Lelani and Mike for being so helpful.

Welcome to 1965 bones with mediocre upgrades to say the least. I have lived here for a little over 1.5 yrs and it was great at first. I was sucked in by the location and views as I worked from home. Then came the leak through my bedroom ceiling (3 buckets worth of water) which displaced me for over 2 weeks. Then the repair to the beams supporting the upper deck when I couldn’t use my own deck for another 2 weeks. The rent started at 2900, then was 3200 after 6 months, and now they just quoted 3500 for an annual renewal!!!! UPDATE: (Best part is they just listed my apartment online for rent at 3150 now!) So, they felt a 10% increase was fair market value for me when they just listed $400 less a month. Essex is the epitome of a shandy landlord operation!
For an apt that has zero sound proofing (good luck if you’re not on the top floor-the ceiling literally cracks and I can hear my lovely neighbors upstairs screaming at each other regularly) no insulation(electric bill was $300 last month), rotting wood that I had to point out to the drywall guy when my roof leak occurred (so he wouldn’t just drywall over it!) and the only amenity is a pool literally designed in 1965. The leasing agent said “well we can’t add a gym or any other amenities or else we’ll have to bring the whole place up to code.” 😳Good luck. DO NOT RENT HERE unless you want to throw your money into the drain. Literally. I’m waiting to see if they keep my whole security deposit now too. Will keep you all posted.

We moved to Vista Belvedere when we got our puppy and it’s been an awesome move. The community is welcoming and friendly, the views are amazing, and the Vista Belvedere team has been extremely helpful and attentive. From showing us the place the first time to actually moving in, Raj and the rest of the team have been professional and always have a great attitude. It’s also so quiet. Despite being in a complex we barely ever hear our neighbors, and that’s been very relaxing. We are excited to continue to explore our new community and enjoy living in Tiburon.

Great location with amazing views of the SF skyline, Mt. Tam, and the bay. The on-site team is very friendly and responsive, Prasheelta and Raj are quick to respond in the office, and Nelson is always very friendly and helpful with maintenance requests!
