I have been living at The Villas at San Dorado for 6 years and I am as grateful for this community now as I was when I moved in. The resort-style living brings calm to my hectic life and the amenities foster community. Lastly, the staff makes me feel appreciated by addressing me by name and also by hosting fun events on the property.

This beautiful community continues to be my home after 7 years for a reason…many reasons! Our community is safe, quiet, extremely well-maintained, and very well-appointed (apartment homes/amenities)! Also, the staff is always available and it treats me with the utmost respect.

I LOVED staying here. The apartment, neighbors and community were awesome.

My three stars come from my move-out process. Which at this point, I literally want to pull all of my hair out over. I was ending my lease early and made sure to reach out and give ample time, over 3 months I believe.

There is zero transparency from the staff about what to expect and probably some unorganized file/note taking. In my initial conversation with Frankie, I stated I'd be able to pay the end of lease on 12/25, 5 days before my move out date which they said was allowed. 30 days prior (month I'm vacating) I received a $225 late fee and an eviction notice for being "late" which was ABSURD, since as a tenant of 6 years I had never once been late on rent.....ever.

Please make it make sense why I would be late for the first time on my last month there? It took an act of congress to get them to remove the fee and they argued it with me every step of the way, blaming me for "not communicating sooner" when I had plainly told them this on our very first communications.

I move over New Years, get a call on 01/02 stating they didn't hear from me if i had actually vacated? Was kinda silly. I've never had to tell an apartment complex I've left considering I signed documents notating my last day of residency, but ok fine. During that call Kayleigh tells me to watch for my final invoice. Ok can do.

Fast forward to today, I've yet to see my final invoice. The only reason I knew what I owed was because I signed in to the resident portal to see if it was maybe posted there. But yet, I had a voicemail stating I was going to be sent to collections if it wasn't paid in full by end of day tomorrow lol who knew I only had 15 days to pay it? I sure didn't because they had never told me that....

The entire leaving process has been beyond annoying, More-so than any other place I have stayed. It sucks because outside of this, I've had an amazing time here, but all this has caused so much stress and anxiety it's just left a horrible taste in my mouth.

While I ended up choosing a different property because of location, I can't say enough good things about my contact with the property! Haley was amazing to work with. She was very kind, patient and thorough. It is obvious that she cares about her current and prospective tenants! If I am ever in the market for another apartment I will definitely revisit Villas at San Dorado!

We toured several properties and have chosen Villas at San dorado. They have modern facilities that seemed to be well-maintained and the units are spacious with a good layout and plenty of storage.
The main reason for our choice was really the ease of communicating and doing business with Haley. She was very accommodating and was flexible with our tight schedule. Frankie was also helpful. We are looking forward to our stay there since their professionalism hopefully points toward a positive experience and stress-free stay in a rental community. Thank you, Haley!

After literally looking at every apartment complex in Oro Valley, I came to the conclusion to make the Villas at San Dorado my next home. Truly, no other community compares to this one. The grounds are impeccable and well maintained. Apartments are spacious and offer many luxurious features. The office staff was so helpful and professional in assisting me. A big thanks to Frankie for sitting with me and answering all of my many questions. I am looking forward to making the Villas At San Dorado my next home.

I have been living here for almost a year and I have absolute loved it. Ethan helped me with the entire move in process and made it painless. He assisted getting me the proper unit in my price range and move-in date. I moved it at the height of the pandemic and was still able to fully enjoy all of the beautiful amenities, especially the gorgeous pool. The communication from management was always very informative and helpful. The community as well is very kind and welcoming to all! You are so close to shopping centers and hiking trails and parking inside the complex is never an issue!

Excited to call the Villas at San Dorado home! The grounds are so beautiful and resort-like. We will have no problem feeling relaxed!
We have had the best experience so far while communicating with Haley to get this process started and completed. She has been extremely helpful, patient and friendly and has provided us timely responses to all of our questions/concerns. We feel welcomed already!

I really liked living here. Nice view of.the mountain. The swimming pool was beautiful to hang around. The lounge by the pool was super nice with all the tvs and sitting areas. Great BBQ grills around the property with gazebos. Nice playground for the children. Was great to walk in the property as well as outside. Gated property with carports too. Business office for us to use was great! Nice covered mail and package delivery space. My apartment was modern with stainless steel appliances and a island. Washer and dryer too. Health issues took me away but great place!
