I recently had water leaking from near my dishwasher due to the recent heavy rains. Notified management and was greeted with a very courteous and professional worker who fixed my water leakage problem the next day! I know how busy maintenance is with keeping the community comfortable for the residents, visitors and staff alike. So I have a considerable appreciation for the View at Marin.

Maintenance has risen above time and time again here at View at Marin. I no longer have any water leakage issues, at all. The workers were courteous, polite, respectful and efficient.

Moved in almost a month ago and am impressed with maintenance. Even routine orders are completed in <24 hours. One morning at 5:15am, I submitted a request to repair a door frame and to possibly have help carrying 2 very large boxes FedEx said were too heavy to bring to my 3rd floor unit, and at 8:30am I got a call from maintenance saying they'd completed the doorframe repair and my packages were waiting outside my door--wow! Overall I think the apartments could look better on the outside but the inside of my unit is beautiful, I love it. I'm on the top floor with a vaulted ceiling so the heat comes in but they provide ac units to rent if needed. The day after I moved in during the heat wave, my bedroom window wouldn't open for me to install my portable ac unit so I submitted an urgent maintenance request, and Paul came by within 3-4 hours and fixed it, wow! I like the online portal to pay rent or by check in person if needed. Friendly neighbors and overall a quiet place to live which I love. I enjoy having an amazon hub on premises for climate controlled package storage/pickup. I do wish there was a closer trash area so I don't have to walk so far with bags, boxes etc, but the trash/recycling area is kept very tidy and clean every time I've seen it. The property is well-kept and further upgrades/renovations are being worked on. It's been a great place to live and I feel safe here.

The ownership of the apartment complex changed from Eaves to another entity on December 16, 2020 (the same day residents were notified). What was formerly known as "Eaves San Rafael" is now "View at Marin".
The Eaves portal that we use to pay rent went down earlier in the week without an explanation. Now residents need to pay rent via check at the leasing office until we get access to the new apartment site/portal.
It's not uncommon to get notes from property management on your door, but I didn't expect one to be what seems like a farewell letter. The management at Eaves San Rafael was very good. James, Lenka, Javier, and other team members were dedicated to the community. Hoping the new management for View at Marin is just as good and that they prioritize the community as well. It's been two days. I will update the review later in hopes that things are ironed out soon

Maintenance requests are acted upon promptly and efficiently. The people working on maintenance are friendly, kind and honest. They have been here as long as I have been living here which promotes trust and knowledge of who you are letting into your home. I am very happy with the crew here.

I have lived at View at Marin for approximately 6 months. Since I was new to renting I had low expectations, however I found that View at Marin exceeds all my expectations. I am very comfortable here and feel safe.
My apartment is spacious, private, very quiet and has a balcony with a nice view of trees, mountains, water and wildlife. All the office and maintenance staff are attentive to residents needs and are always friendly. Michael, Lenka and Alyssa in the Leasing Office are especially kind, respectful and caring people. I have found other residents to be friendly and respectful also. I really enjoy that this is a dog friendly complex. I enjoy seeing all the dogs when I'm out and about. All and all, this is a great place to live.

I love living at the Eaves. The management and maintenance staff is excellent and so helpful. The views can be outstanding and each apartment has a deck. The pet positive atmosphere is a wonderful plus for me... The nature throughout the complex is soothing and beautiful and makes for some nice walks. If you like challenges, walking the hills is a good workout. Gym has good equipment and is open all the time to residents and the pool is clean and well kept. I have met some terrific people and dogs and receive some smiles on my walks that make my day. I appreciate that there is a diverse community. Northgate Shopping Center is across the freeway.

I have very few negatives and those I do have are usually resolved in a timely manner.
