Vanessa helped us find a home and we met her about a year before that. We did not know her or have her as our agent. We were working with 2-3 agents in different cities prior. We met her at one of the open houses and she gave it to us to way it is on questions like commute to train station, commute to city, traffic, train parking etc. See until that point agents have rounded time and portrayed a pretty pic on those things and she gave us a practical response. She didn't try to sell that house by lying about anything. My wife and I were so impressed with her honesty and friendliness that we approached and asked if she would assist - which she of course accepted :). It did take my wife and I about 6-8 months thereafter to agree to a house and she was there with us all along - never pushed us, never expressed frustration or intimidate us. If home view schedule conflicted with something she found help and ensured we weren't disappointed. She often would say if it doesn't feel like it that we move on. She helped negotiate on our current house and I think having her on our side made this happen. I'll note again - what's important is that we didn't know anyone she knew or no one introduced us - so she could have walked away of be not as patient - but she didn't. My wife and kid also enjoyed her company. Long review but it is just fair that I share this forward to whoever it may help. I wish Vanessa continued success.
