Amazing selection and plenty of the plants I was looking for at different stages. They have a nice, easy to understand layout and the staff is very welcoming and helpful. Check their availability tab on their website to see if they have what you're looking for. Mark down the location and then find out on their site map. Bring a trailer if you're buying big stuff, they won't let you strap a giant pot to the roof of your car. Be safe and ask for help. They'll bring a loader and help you get it in your pickup if you ask. I didn't even get quarter way through their 20 acres of plants and I walked around the green houses for an hour. Definitely worth a look. Plus they're in a pretty scenic part of California so that's cool too.

Wonderfully cheerful staff and knowledgeable timely customer service! We were searching for a live Christmas tree in a pot and had literally acres of trees with an enormous variety of healthy species and sizes to choose from. Pleasant atmosphere with ample parking.

Vast amount of plants, fruit trees, and all types of trees. In a well maintained environment. Helpful staff who help educate/choose your plants and will transport your plants/trees to your car. My brother and I got 5 fruit trees on this visit: 2 nectarines, 1 bing cherry, 1 rainier and a white peach. We have bought trees here in the past which have produced delicious fruits. We’re looking forward to seeing the progress with these new ones!

This place is truly impressive, not only for the huge and well-organized collection of plants, but also for the extremely well-informed staff. We've visited here several times now and we get thorough information on the plants we want every time. They have an excellent database on plants and their locations within the farm, so everything is easy to find. Start at the info booth (also where you pay for your plants) and the employees can hand you a map marked up with locations for everything you need. The most impressive thing is how much info the staff can give you on each plant you buy. They have plenty of carts for you to get your plants, or you can just put a ribbon on your selections and the staff will go get everything for you. They also deliver to your residence, for a reasonable cost. It's a fun place to browse and learn about different plants.

As always, a huge variety of plants, shrubs, and trees. Some are hard to find in Sonoma County. It's fairly easy to locate in-stock items with their online inventory and location guide. The parking lot is very muddy in wet weather, so be prepared. The staff are wonderful and helpful.

Sad to write a low-star review but enough is enough..after making numerous trips and purchases to this place as part of a full property makeover, yesterday was the last straw. While the plants, trees, etc do tend to be very healthy and hearty, I will no longer spend my money at a business that has such piss-poor, surly and condescending staff. There has not been one single time that I have interacted with anyone at this nursery that has given any semblance of customer service or remotely answered a simple question with anything less than a sneer. Lower prices and expansive variety no longer add greater value than simple, congenial customer service. I am left to surmise that their landscaper/wholesale business is what most likely gets a smile and “thank you”…or at least less grimmacing and the staff’s best impression of grumpy cat energy. I’m choosing to support local nurseries that actually want and appreciate my local dollars not going to big box. Good riddance Urban Tree Farm.
