We started out trying to rent and had quite the saga to which Deanna tried everything to help us find a solution. We then ended up working with Deanna and Anita to buy our first home and they were nothing short of amazing! They answered my 5000 questions, promptly replied to my anxious emails & texts, took the time to explain the process to us every step of the way. They helped us figure out.... literally everything. From placing a good offer to helping with inspections, negotiations, and closing- they did it all and followed up afterwards. They've also been great about providing local recommendations for contractors and vendors that we needed after closing. We genuinely feel like they worked with our best interest in mind and made the process as easy as possible as well as connecting us to our new community. Amy and Anita are amazing! They made buying our new home extremely easy. It took us about 1.5 years to finally find a house in this crazy market and they were both available to us 100% along the way. They are very quick to respond to any questions we had (and we had A TON as first time buyers). They were able to explain each bit of the process to us until we understood each detail of what we were doing. They were also able to coordinate with sellers/title/mortgage company to ensure we had an very straight forward itinerary for closing. Working with Any and Anita with Truckee River Homes was a true delight. They were, and remain to this day, incredibly responsive and walked us through every step of what could have been a very difficult and stressful process. Amy, our agent, spent an entire weekend (Labor Day) with us, showing us numerous properties. She has an incredibly robust understanding of the local market, great familiarity with the area (including the small hard-to-find pockets) and exhibited a lot of patience with us. And frankly, she’s just downright nice!
