Real bad company and management they keep tenants security deposit I move out in September of 2024 left the place nice and clean did owed no money rent paid up . it’s 2025 I still haven’t received my deposit I call I left emails ect they are rude and disrespectful and they don’t answer no calls nor emails this company needs to be sued and management needs to be fired they loosing good tenants because they are nasty and very unprofessional and stealing money they need to be reported Asap so other innocent, good people don’t have to go through this and don’t get there money stolen

I reside in Hickory Heights in Abbeville,South Carolina. Our Landlord is very nasty and does not communicate with her Tenants at all. She holds the utility checks and gives them out after the date the hold is due on the light bill. She doesn’t want to give Tenants receipts when they pay rent. She has her son working on the property as well,which isn’t allowed. In order to get her attention I had to write an Appeal Letter. In my letter I put all the damages in my home that I’d reported to her numerous times. My letter was sealed and ready to mail, but she opened my letter and popped up at my apt for an inspection. She requested I have it ready by Monday,but I’m 8 months pregnant and I could only do so much. After I wrote my letter she stuck numerous notes in my door
about my rent going up or kicking me out. She had information back from August she held to use against me at a time like this. Elizabeth Webb needs to be replaced with someone better.

Horrible management! Property manager Maureen does not know what she is doing at candlelight lane NY. very nasty and does not communicate with her Tenants at all. High turnovers of staff. Your losing good tenants because of her.

BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE!! You may think your getting a great space & storage for a reasonable price but remember you get what you pay for. We've lived at 243 S. Harrison for almost 2yrs & we are very very unhappy. Don't listen when they say that they've renovated b/c that's a big fat LIE!! When the super tells you that the exterminator comes once a month don't take that lightly b/c this building is ROACH INFESTED!! & also has a MOUSE problem in the winter. You may find roaches crawling in the elevators, on the walls on the 1st floor & also in the laundry room while trying to wash clothes. The 1st day we moved in we got stuck in the elevator for 45min not able to get the super on the line to get us out. The elevators break down at least once a month. The super never answers the phone & if he does come to your apt to fix something while your not there you will never know if he was there or not b/c he doesn't leave a note saying he was there. If you park in the garage expect your car to be wet from the rain & make sure you wear your rain boots b/c you'll be stepping in about 2inches of water getting into your car. SO I WILL STRESS THIS AGAIN.....DO NOT MOVE IN ANY OF TREETOP DEVELOPMENT BUILDINGS!! They are just money hungry & don't maintain the building as it should

Heads up to Tree Top for taking over Candlelight APTS and really trying to make them livable again . Things have definetly been improved and cleaned up! maintenance and office manager Maureen great to work with.Easygoing and friendly!

horrible company. we have lived in the building located in Flushing and we moved out since March 2018. We still have not received security deposit yet as we tried million times to contact this company but no one ever answered phone or reply to email. It looks like no body is working on daily basis.

The most incompetent people I have ever met!! Shantasia Black especially, clearly lacks a basic education and any common sense. Do NOT move into their buildings, you will be living amongst filth, cockroaches, and likely not have a smoke detector in your apartment.
