Absolutely amazing experience!! The boat rental was reasonably priced, and we had an absolute blast. The staff was wonderful and beyond friendly, they even threw our towels in the dryer after we got rained on! I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a boat rental in Grand Lake. They have all kinds of styles to fit whatever you need, and they walked us through everything we need to know about our voyage! Little rental house was super clean and comfortable too, bathrooms very clean and tavern area very nice. Wonderful experience, we’ll be back here soon!

We rented a pontoon with Trail Ridge this week and were very happy with the rental. They were thorough with where we could be on the lakes and what to do when the alarm went off (happens when you get close to the geofence they use to deter from rocks). We had an issue with the alarm malfunctioning and they were quick to come out and fix it for us. We even spotted a moose in the lake in our way back!

I’d encourage anyone to rent from Trail Ridge Marina first if you can. They are incredibly hospitable and accommodating. We rented a platoon boat from them during our trip to Grand Lake, and (as often happens) our boat trip was cut almost immediately short when it started storming as soon as we left the dock. The staff let us hang out on their porch for a while and lit up a fire while we waited and finished a few drinks we’d opened on the boat. They let us reschedule our reservation for later the weekend. We ended up having to leave Grand Lake earlier than planned due to weather, and Trail Ridge Marina gave us a full refund without any hassle. Honestly, it was one if the best boating experiences we’ve had, even though we barely spent 30 minutes on the boat. Awesome service!

Amazing! We rented kayaks for our family and spent 2hrs on the lake. We saw lots of birds, nests, and had fun kayaking around the little islands and through the tall grasses. The water was so clear at spots you could see the bottom. The view was breathtaking. The staff was friendly and gave us lots of tips to enjoy our excursion.

We had a great experience with Trail Ridge Marina. Though we spend a lot of time in the Grand Lake area kayaking and paddle boarding, we've never boated there. We chose to rent a pontoon boat with Trail Ridge Marina because of their pet-friendly boats and ability to travel between Shadow Mountain Lake and Grand Lake. It was easy to rent online and we were quickly on the water with some basic instructions. We rented for 4 hours which was plenty of time to sight see, fish, and dock the boat in Grand Lake for an ice cream break. I would suggest a minimum of 3 hours to really enjoy the experience.

Had an amazing time kayaking! Website booking was really straightforward (we booked the morning of), and getting into the water was a breeze.

The team is also wonderful- somehow we managed to misplace our car keys when we hopped off our kayak at a nearby island. They went above and beyond and took us out to the island on a small motor boat (once we were back from kayaking and realized the keys were missing), where we managed to find them!

My friends and I loved renting a pontoon boat from Trail Ridge Marina. Staff were very friendly and explained the whole process well so everyone understood how to enjoy the boat successfully. Gorgeous views of the mountains and trees. You can also dock the boat and take a walk downtown so you get a lot of flexibility and enjoyment out of the day. Definitely would recommend this marina.

We recently rented the 25 foot boat from Trail Ridge Marina for 12 adults. We are so happy we went with this company!! You are able to navigate using your cell phone to avoid the "no go" areas, and you can go between both Shadow Mountain Lake and Grand Lake. We were able to pull up to one of the islands and get off the boat as well. We saw bald eagles, pelicans and even a moose!! We cannot wait to come back!
