Woodlands Apartments is a safe and friendly complex. Apartments are clean and spacious. Maintenance manager is super fast always helpful. Phil will help with anything neeeded! Abryi is the property manager and she is always available like a friendly neighbor. Tenants are a variety of students and working families. Everyone waves and says, “Hello”. Security person lives onsite; but I’ve never had to call. Summer offers a clean pool and lots of chairs. Location is minutes from all shopping, restaurants, and downtown. I can’t imagine a better rental home in Florence.

One of the worst experiences of my life. The property managers are a nightmare, and the company as a whole is simply a scam. They're greedy, and they enjoy charging unnecessary fees. I couldn't even shut my bedroom door. It would jam (I'm assuming the previous tenant damaged the door). My bathroom ceiling began to fall apart. Yet maintenance and management never lifted a finger to fix anything.
Yet, they want to keep my entire security deposit for "cleaning" fees. Clearly they don't understand the concept of a security deposit. It is for damages not cleaning. Yet my apartment was damaged from a previous tenant and nothing was resolved.
So, enjoy my money and the money of other tenants that goes towards absolutely nothing to fix anything except lining your back pockets.

I do not normally write reviews, but after seeing some of the negativity being thrown towards my community in the recent reviews I would like a chance to change the minds of those discouraged to make an appointment for a tour and missing out on a wonderful place to live. I have been here over one year now and i have not a single thing to complain about. The office staff is very professional and unlike the past reviews have said they NEVER show up to your apartment unannounced. They have always given a weeks notice whether they are checking fire equipment, replacing the ac filter, or spraying for bugs. Leonard, the maintenance man, has been the most helpful person that i have met associated with this property. I was complaining of my ac not blowing what i thought was cold enough air and he had no hesitation in staying after hours one day to replace my entire outdoor ac unit. He has fixed multiple things i have asked from a broken toilet flange to a clogged drain and every time he has come out he has been extremely friendly and professional, getting the job done quick but properly. When i see him out and about walking around the property he always waves or talks to me and that really makes you feel comfortable about who is coming into your apartment while you aren't there if he is required to do maintenance on something during the day while you're at work. These apartments are extremely nice for what you pay ($470/month). Honestly try to find nicer apartments within 3 miles of UNA campus for under $500. We have a very wonderfully kept pool and playground with a grilling area and picnic tables just around the corner from it. Trash overfilling is never a problem. Parking is never a problem. This place is my home away from home for the past year and for the next three years to come and i could not imagine living anywhere else in Florence. From someone who moved here with nothing, not knowing a single thing about this town, I highly recommend staying at The Woodlands in Florence AL.

My roommates and I have lived here for 2 years now and it has been great! It's quiet. A good mix of mature college students and families. Never had an issue with neighbors. Maintenance give proper notice in advance of when they will be by for inspection. Only negative I have is the single entrance, which is not an issue during summer, but school traffic in the morning and afternoon may hinder you getting in or out. Some apartments are next to the field where they hold band practice and games so noise may be an issue there but otherwise, still a solid place.

to start, this review will have some length to it, but well worth the read. I've lived at this complex, now, for almost 3 years; to find anyone around this area that has a staff that will go above and beyond to keep up everything from residency to maintenance. All the maintenance and check ups are done in a timely manner with reminders posted on each door of when they will come. Although the staff here will work diligently to make sure everything is taken care of, they also respect all other residence that occupy the complex.
For the apartment complex, it will probably be the most quiet, family oriented and friendly complex that rural/urban Florence has to offer. Layouts are great with easy move ins, that I've had in the past. Parking throughout the year is never a hassle.
For the area, the only downside would be that there is one entrance, in and out of the complex, whereas during school time, the traffic is very heavy between 3-430pm. And the pool could always open up sooner.

So far its very quiet, peaceful, and the apartments are nice and decent. I'm actually living here now and I love it! I've been living here for about two months and I've haven't had a problem with anything except that the one bedrooms doesn't have a washer and dryer hook up...you'll have to use the "very small" Landrymat by the office and the pool. When it's occupied it gets annoying because the residents takes forever in the day to come collect their clothes. There are pets(dogs) on site but they're very friendly and mostly quiet...a least the ones in my building are. The Woodlands are located near the high school practice field and sometimes they get loud but not distributing loud and they don't always have practice. Overall it's a great place if you like the peace and quiet.

Literally the worst place I’ve ever lived. “Couldn’t have our dog bc of the weight” yet half of the neighborhood had their dogs. They will barge into your home without permission. Have all kinds of crazy rules like you have to “take turn parking”. No one who pays $640 for a outdated roach infested apt should have to take turns Parking. The only nice person was Kim and apparently she’s gone. So this place is practically garbage. Not to mention they will charge you all kinds of pointless money for “damages” like a cleaning fee. You have to clean the dump regardless.

Hey y’all. I just want to leave a review for you all on The Woodlands Apartments. I’m Sarah and I currently live there. (My Sister is using my Google for online. That’s why it says Lyna). The Woodlands is a nice, quit and clean place. Never have a bad experience with the new manager, Aybrianna, she is one of the sweetest, caring and polite person I’ve ever met.
When something needs to be done, she will get it done. She will work with you so your experience living there is a great experience. The maintenance guy is awesome to. I honestly would recommend this apartment complex.
Huge thanks to Aybrianna, you have been so great to us.
