The Vista Apartments - Voorhees Township, New Jersey

The Vista apartments are one of the best places to stay in Voorhees Echelon Area.

I lived here for 1 year and had the wonderful time.

The apartment we got was the upgraded one with all new washer and dryer in unit , microwave and refrigerator.

We were lucky to get the apartment that was so close to the pool and clubhouse.The pool view was amazing.I have added the photos as well.

There was never a problem of the parking and my spot was always vacant for me to park.

The maintenance staff was also super quick.

Unfortunately, we have to move out because we wanted to have the experience of living in a townhome as well.

The staff at the front office Molly and Jess were always helpful.

Location perspective it has many things close by like Boscov's, Target, Walmart , Voorhees Library, Soccer ground, Kirkwood park

I am posting the actual photos of the apartment and surroundings that will assist everybody to make a choice of the apartments in the area.

We moved into the Vista roughly a month ago. After searching for an apartment for 2 months, we last minute toured an apartment. I cannot say how glad we are that we did. Mary from the leasing office is an angel! She showed us both 2 bedroom and 1 bedroom models. She was extremely patient when answering questions and extremely punctual with responses. We decided to sign a lease and by the end of the week we were able to move in! Upon moving in, everything was in great condition. Maintenance is easy to get a hold of and in our case they have came out within a few hours of the request.. We enjoy living here and believe we’ve made a great choice. I’ve also seen previous posts made to say that there’s barely any parking and that the staff is rude.. we ourselves haven’t had any type of rude encounter if anything everyone has been extremely nice and helpful. We can always find a parking spot close to the building and it has nice trails for you to walk which we appreciate with having a dog.

Great community and safe place to live. Vista has been great to us the last few years. The staff in the office Molly, Kelsey and Jess are always welcoming and eager to help with any questions or issues that may arise. Maintenance has been super responsive.
I like that the area is clean and that I feel safe at night walking around. Tons of spots and path to walk the dog!
Vista amenities has been really nice, been enjoying the pool which is never that crowded even on these hot weekend days.
Couldn’t be happier with our choice for residency!

We lived at Vista Lakeside for just over 2 years. We loved the park like setting, the lake and walking trail and also the wide space between buildings, leaving lots of lawn area. Grounds maintenance was great - lawn mowed every week on schedule and flowers, bushes and trees added to the enjoyment of the grounds. Maintenance crew were always very responsive when needed and professional and considerate when coming into your home. Lots of friendly neighbors, some have lived at Vista for over 15 and 20 years. Beautiful club room and well appointed business center with new computers. A nice quiet place to get away for a bit. The pool and fitness center are also very nice. The ladies in the office - Molly, Kelsey and Jess hold the entire experience together. They are knowledgeable, proactive and respond promptly. Anytime you call or go over to the office, they greet you and are extremely pleasant. They always go above and beyond - something you don't always find in today's world. And then there is the manager, Moe. Always on the scene, overseeing ongoing projects to update and enhance the property and also very responsive and personable if you ever need to call on him.

MICE!!! MICE!!! MICE!!! Stay away!! Please beware these are not luxury apartments and you pay luxury prices. This place has many issues. The floors are cheap vinyl and they crack randomly. I’ve had them replaced twice in a year. I’ve had to constantly fix things myself because the quality just isn’t there. The closet doors are constantly getting fixed because the rails are old/broken. Lastly, MICE!!! We’ve had an exterminator come work on this issue multiple times! They’ve patched holes inside and outside the apartment but the issue continues. They blame neighbors and simply say they will send someone else out. It’s an embarrassment to have mice traps all over the apartment, even when your apartment is spot clean, and believe me we CLEAN constantly. The leasing office and management simply don’t see it as a problem.

Sharing for friends because they still live there and are afraid of their honesty being used against them.

This is a good place to live if you're in need of somewhere on the cheaper side to go very soon and don't have time to look for other places. Despite it still being pretty expensive, The Vista (and the other complexes owned by the same management nearby) is still cheaper than many other places in the area.

Like I said, it's good if you're in a pinch and need somewhere to go, but not necessarily for the long-term. It may look family-friendly, but definitely is not. Though there are children playing outside on the playground most days, it's obvious that they are not being supervised in any way. It is almost impossible to have the windows open on nice days due to how loud the children are (especially if you have your own little ones trying to nap).

There is a registered sex offender (child-related crimes) who lives in a third floor apartment whose balcony directly overlooks the playground. That's all I'll say about that.

Parking is absolutely abysmal; people constantly park in places that are not designated as parking spots, making it difficult for other cars to navigate around them to get in and out, and the fire lane is almost always full of cars parked in it. Speaking of fire lane, there have been two fires in nearby buildings since we've been here. Luckily, the trucks didn't need to access this particular lot either time, or there would have been a big problem.

We get threatening emails every so often from maintenance reminding us that on no uncertain terms are we to use our garbage disposal for its intended purpose, so don't expect garbage disposal to be an amenity even though it technically is there.

The modern-looking sinks in our apartment are square with hard corners, and are very difficult to clean. The washer and dryer are both front-loading and tend to leave clothes smelling funky no matter how much we clean them. The washer also has a trap underneath that needs to be taken out and rinsed off at least once a month (as is normal with front-loading washers), but the way it's positioned in the cabinet makes it very difficult to access. Some apartments have one single washer/dryer combo, and I've heard that those are even worse than the ones we have. We were given no manuals for any of the appliances, and when we asked maintenance what the names of any of them were so we could look up the manuals online, they said they didn't know because they were different in all of the apartments.

Either water, hot water, or power is turned off for "up to 3 hours between 9am and 5pm" at least once every two months or so. This usually lasts at least 5 hours and is at the most inconvenient time, but at least they warn us first.

As is to be expected with apartment living, you can hear the neighbors pretty well - particularly only the ones above you, though. We rarely hear anyone through the walls, but we can hear every single step (no matter how light) our upstairs neighbors make, and every conversation they have.

All of the windows get moldy when it rains, you have to SLAM the screen door on the balcony in order to close it, and there is about a 2" gap on the bottom of the main apartment door for bugs and other things to come in. There is no drainage whatsoever in the area, so the entire playground becomes a lake when it rains, and the parking lot (despite having drains in it) also gets pretty bad.

So again, though there's a lot of stuff to put up with, for the price in comparison to others, it may be worth it.

Please just save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere! We lived at The Vistas for just a year and what a long year it was. We lived there for about a week before we regretted our decision. When we first moved in, our apartment smelled horrible. Appliances were severely damaged with huge scratches all over. Doesn’t sound so bad but think about the amount you’re paying. They should replace these things. Parking at this apartment was a nightmare. People often parked in blocked off spots or even blocking the entrance/exit. There is not enough parking there, sometimes we would come back late at night and spend 15 minutes driving around trying to find something closer before settling on parking far and walking to our apartment. Our neighbors constantly had super loud parties and we would hear the music all night. The grounds were covered in trash and cigarette buds. Don’t fall for the photos of nice appliances and “updates”. Nothing about this place is worth the price. Please don’t be like me a year ago and ignore all the bad reviews, trust me! Find somewhere else to live.

Stayed here last year, Amazing Exp, the Mgmt Services Company response times and actions are very prompt, just 1 request and they are at the door in couple of hrs., irrespective of how big the issue is. Our AC was not working they replaced HVAC in a week, until then they provided us temp portable ACs.
The 3 ladies - Jess, Molly and Kelsey at Sales Office, they are the face of Chelsea Mgmt services, they are very dynamic, attentive to our request and very much supportive over everything.
We had to move out coz of visa and lease terms not matching else we could have never gone out.
Settling of Deposit Checks too very clean, transparent process.
Community have Park and Walking Trails and nearby access to all major grocery stores, restaurants soccer field next to it is cherry on the cake.
Safety wise - People can walk even at late nite safely.
Ample Parking - First Come First Serve : Never will be a situation without parking.
Gym - Accessible to everyone of community with key FOB and very much clean and maintained Gym.
With my kid being infant to toddler - so I was Working from Home through Common Hall accessible Area, even on weekends its accessible.

All in all- I have never felt like going out and everything at one place.

We got the best view flat, next to park and can get fresh Air right from windows to Patio 24*7.
