Ed is top notch! He spent days with us touring houses and providing guidance on the very competitive market. He also got a great sense of what we were looking for in a house. When our offer was accepted, Ed connected us with an attorney, inspector, and title company that we're also incredible. His attorney, Laura, was great to work with and moved quick (helping us save a few thousand $). John his inspector, spent 2-3 hours with us, leaving no stone unturned, and provided the most thorough expectation report. The title company was also extremely professional and detailed. Finding Ed was probably the best thing that could have happened to me while looking for my first property. This was my first time purchasing a home, so I had no idea where to look for all the people I needed to have on my team. Since I was looking for a multifamily property to live in one part while renting out the rest, I ended up using the Agent Finder on BiggerPockets since the goal was (and still is) to eventually have the property fully rented out. I stumbled upon Ed's profile there and gave him a call, and from that point on I was guided through every part of the purchase process. He recommended a great mortgage broker, attorney, home inspector, and title company and they have all been amazing to work with. In terms of actually finding a property, Ed listened to all the preferences and requirements I had and created a collection of listings that was constantly updated as new listings popped up, which made it easy to browse and filter for specific houses and locations. He was quick to schedule showings whenever I was interested in a property (and scheduled multiple on the same day to make things more convenient), and on the days where there were multiple showings, he would drive me to each property which helped a lot since I didn't have access to a car at the time. He also helped me run the numbers on the properties we visited (possible rents, estimated repair costs, etc) and taught me how to make good offers, which was great because I'm new to the world of investing. Even after we got an offer accepted, he helped with negotiations during the closing process to make sure I got as many credits as possible. Ed has been an invaluable resource during the entire process and is honestly just a great person in general. I learned a lot from him and couldn't have come this far without his help and for that I'm super grateful and can't recommend him enough. 🙏
