Where to begin? There are limited apartments in Hanceville, so most places didn't have availabilities. We decided to finally get one of these units, which I already was upset about because there are only a handful of them that have a washer and dryer hookup. Unfortunately none were available and they don't even have an on site laundry room like most places. So the land lady at the time seemed nice at first. It was only going to be my partner and I and our 2 fixed adult cats. Within the first week I realized that our neighbors were college students(2 young girls) and they constantly had at least 10 people in their apartment every night. If it would have just been the weekends that they had parties, that would have been okay. I would be woken up at 7 in the morning with music blasting from a soundbar with bass and every night as well. Almost every morning before they finally left for class after they partied all night. I made several comments to the land lady who said she'd talk to the two girls, nothing changed. Every. Single. Day. We even confronted them and they wouldn't even answer the door to us or if they did they'd lie and the music wouldn't cease. My partner worked 3rd shift and I worked first, and both of our sleep schedules were effected. It was such an awful experience. I have never been as unhappy living in these minuscule apartments with barely enough space for a full sized bed in the bedroom, and only enough room for a small couch in the living room. The kitchen WAS the halfway and the toilet was 3 feet away from the oven but luckily separated by a door. It was cramped, poorly ran, land lady that comes into your apartment when you weren't home, the matience guy was clearly on meth, and had the most obnoxious neighbors. I will never rent an apartment again after my experience here. Only houses or trailers on private land. Do not rent here, I guarantee there is something much better out there that might be a little more monthly but you will have a peace of mind and significantly more space. The one star review looks like one of the new owners that just bought the complex a few months back, so his review is biased. He probably lives in some huge brick house on a few acres of land. Not worth the price for the mental and emotional stress. Not even a dishwasher and huge sprinkler system, huge metal pipes throughout the entire house.
