We bought our dream house (resident 6) at The Oaks at Portola Hills, closed escrow on 3/25/22. This is a nice community, has great schools and an amazing view. We were fortunate to work with Steven Springthorpe (Sr. Sale Associate, Baldwin & Sons). He is the most professional and knowledgeable sale person that we ever met. There is no word that could descript how thankful and appreciative we are for him. Below are a few qualities that we have seen and received from Steven.
1. Very knowledgeable of The Oaks site such as residence models, community surround areas, process of being on the waitlist, get accept to be the buyer, sign purchasing contract, construction process and more
2. Very responsive, accurate and punctuate. Buying a brand-new house is a long process. He’s very patience with us, response to all of your questions on a timely manner and provided update status of the house through out the one year construction process.
3. A hard worker, experience sale person with integrity to the company.
4. Provides excellent customer service to all home buyers, their agents and their family and friends. I am Asian and purchased the house during pandemic. Steve always made me feel welcome when I visited the model or my house site.
5. Steve is the most genuine, down to earth and a very nice person. He has great design He gave us great advice about the house. He even helps us pick our carpet color.
6. Provided important information, so we can make good decisions and able to lock low loan rate. Our final loan was approved before close of escrow date, which help her physically and mentally.
7. Steve does what best for his company and the home buyers. He is very organized, get all require purchase documents processed, worked closely with design center team, construction team, escrow team and our mortgage team (Fairway Independent Mortgage) to close escrow on time and before the lock loan rate expires. We did not have to pay loan extension fee.
Steve, I hope Baldwin & Sons realizes that they have a shining star at their company. Thanks for your professionalism, positive attitude, happy and friendly personality. We appreciate every ounce of it. Thank for the great journey and experience in getting our dream home. We wish you success in everything you do. Steven is very knowledgeable about the community and construction process in general. We being first time home buyers, he helped answer/clarify all our questions along the whole process.
