Passed my real estate test in the first try after taking Jamie Marks Real estate class!!!!
Honestly was a bit nervous, to say the least. I’ve heard that people have taken the test 3-4 times until they passed. - I owe it all to Jamie!
The new school offers classes in person or on zoom. I chose to go in person, the classroom was very comfortable and convenient.
Jamie was an excellent teacher, he starts on time, he’s organized and efficient.
A lot of what I learned was new to me, and I’ve gained so much knowledge and confidence from the material. It helped that Jamie uses stories and examples from his experience.
In just 3 weeks I am now ready to start going on interviews.
Highly recommend this to anyone interested in getting started in real estate.

After my course concluded, I scheduled my exam less than 2 weeks after and passed with no issues without paying for tools like Compucram. If you attend each class, focus during Jamie’s review sessions and take notes on key terms & information…you will pass the NJ RE Salesperson Exam!

I highly recommend The New School of Real Estate! Jamie (the instructor) is fantastic! There is a lot of material to memorize in order to pass the state exam. Jamie makes the class fun and full of “real life” examples from his experience in real estate, which makes it easier to retain some of the information. If you’re planning on getting your Real Estate license, definitely utilize this school and all it has to offer!

FYI this is a little long but definitely worth the information. The New School of Real Estate was an amazing class. First off, I called over 20(!) Estate Classes throughout NJ and The New School of Real Estate was the ONLY CLASS that was ACTUALLY IN PERSON (with the option of being online if you desired). All the other schools were either through zoom or recorded classes from the past.

I know how I am and would not focus too much if I was at home in an online setting because of everything around to distract me, and I also would not be able to ask real time questions to help me grasp knowledge. So I thought why not reach out and see. Jamie was so personable and was very quick to respond to all types of texts or calls about session info. He even makes a journey to meet you in person and give you the book so he can start to build a relationship before class even begins (this made class itself an easier environment to be comfortable and ask questions).

The class itself is where it really makes a difference. Where I can see other classes as just a fulfillment of required class time, this class actually told me everything I needed to know to pass the test on the first try. Jamie is so knowledgeable with all the information and even makes sure to go outside of the book itself that we learn all the concepts itself.

He teaches and relates it to real life scenarios to help us grasp all the information in a practical manner as well. Don’t get me wrong the information itself is a bit much to learn in general (no matter where you go, it has to be very in depth because of everything it entails). However, Jamie makes the class information as easy as possible to understand and is always a text or a call away if you need extra help or have any specific questions. Now I did not do all the studying most people do but I still felt very confident on the test itself just from what we went through in class.

In the end though, Jamie is a great instructor and you even have the option of going in person (which other places do not do). At first I thought the 40 minute drive from where I live to The School of Real Estate would be a little annoying but it was 100% worth it to actually be there in person and have Jamie as the instructor. It also didn’t hurt that his prices were between 1/2 and 3/4 of the other places I’ve called. I definitely recommend The New School of Real Estate if you are deciding to get your Real Estate License. If you want to obtain all the knowledge you will need to pass the real estate exam this is the place to go. Join Jamie Marks in a great class and try it out first. You will love it and find yourself deeply engrossed in the ins and outs of the trade. Jamie is a phenomenal teacher and peppers the material with great anecdotes that help you remember the terms. He will stop and answer questions and give you tips to remember the text. Highly recommended by someone passing the test first time out. Could not have gone it without this class!

I recently retired and wanted to start a new career in real estate. I did not know much about the process and was looking for some guidance. I called The New School of Real Estate in West Long Branch, NJ. The class instructor, Jamie, took the time to answer my questions before I signed up, which made me feel at ease. You could take the course online from home or attend the class at the realtor class room. The required hours generally went quickly because of the class instruction from Jamie, and the class interaction from all the people taking the class. The course was as advertised and helped me pass the state exam on the first try. Highly recommend!
