I cannot recommend renting at The Crest strongly enough! The apartments and amenities speak for themselves, but what truly sets this place apart is the exceptional staff. Kayla and Stevie (the property manager) went above and beyond to ensure a smooth experience.
Before move-in, they took the time to show us various unit styles to make sure we found the perfect one. Since then, whenever we have questions or need assistance, they’ve been incredibly responsive and helpful. After moving in, I submitted a work order, and maintenance was there right away to resolve the issue.

The community is well-maintained, and the location is very convenient. We love our apartment and the amenities can’t wait for many more years here. If you're searching for a new home, this place is a must-see!

CURERNT ISSUE: I transferred to another apartment in April 2018 due to prior pest issues. And still waiting for my security deposit. Corporate needs to be more responsive. The office here has been trying to reach them but it's useless.

As a first time renter, my fiancee and I rented a 2 BR crown upgraded apartment.

Issues within 30 days:

Issue #1: On move in date, the patio door would not lock - this was resolved the same day.

Issue #2: Fridge's evaporator motor was sounding like a buzz saw.
Maintenance came 3 times so far...

UPDATE: Maintenance manager stopped by and diligently found the root cause of fridge noise and ordered parts. Issue was resolved within 3 days. Lesson is to skip the office and open tickets through the web portal as they see those tickets sooner.

Issue #3: mice issues
After multiple attempts by the prior pest control company I'm happy to report they switched to anchor pest control which are way more knowledgeable than the previous. I then moved to another apartment where I had immediatly also had ant problems due to various cracks in the window frames. After anchor pest control laid out a plan for short term and long term prevention, the issue seems to be under control.

Neighbors:
They are either friendly or stick to themselves. Minimal noise unless you have a family with toddlers running around above you.

Property:
Pool and public grilling area are the nicest in the area hands down.
Plenty of lounge chairs even on major holidays.

Area seems quite safe. No delinquents at odd hours. Very family friendly.

Since "valet trash" is required, the large dumpsters are usually quite empty which is a good thing!

Update 2018*

We moved to another apartment due to prior pest issues and the only issue is this large dirt swamp in front of the property. The regional maintenance manager said they would fix it and it has been resolved.

Other photos are from the prior 2 br after I moved out. We are currently in a 2 bed 2 bath and will post photos later.

Summary:
Location is superb and just minutes away from all major shopping outlets. Although the apartments are over 30 yrs old, they are in decent condition overall compared to other developments in the area.

Maintenance was OK but lately they think I'm a fool. The bathtub spout leaks when the shower head is on, and they told me its NORMAL. I just let it go since its the guest BR. Other issues include realizing something is broken and never coming back to replace it.

No Management company is perfect but you can tell they are striving to improve and serve the tenants....

So I want to start off by saying that we really wanted to like this apartment when we moved in because the area is truly very nice but that quickly went down hill starting night one.

1. The apartment complex is from the late 70’s and is really starting to show its age. Walls are paper thin, ceiling beams creak non stop if you have neighbors above you and unfortunately, as nice as the maintenance crew is, a lot of very questionable repairs have been made to the units - including painting over old water damage that started to lead to many areas of mold.

2. We witnessed 3 fires over the course of 2 months in 2022 - as much as we’d like to think it was just a coincidence it was really concerning to have fire after fire happen a building away ever few weeks. We’re not entirely sure why they kept occurring but it made us not want to leave our dog alone in the apartment for extended periods of time.

3. Many neighbors in the 57-60 Complex were unfortunately very inconsiderate of others. Kids yelling and stomping around at all hours of the day, people leaning on cars that weren’t theirs, upstairs neighbors doing dishes and laundry at 3AM and then to top it off they also let their washer overflow which ended up flooding our bathroom and closet. The list goes on but just these listed here made it extremely difficult to enjoy anything about our stay at the crest.

Now although we didn’t enjoy our stay at all, the new staff was extremely empathetic towards us and helped us out when it came time for us to move out - hence this not being a one star review. Aviram listened to our side of the story and notated everything down so that when it came to move out they did help make that simple for us.

We sold our house in 2021 and needed an apartment in the interim before moving to our new home so The Crest is where we hoped to enjoy close to a year of apartment living but unfortunately our experience is really not something we’d want anyone else to go through unless you really have no other options in this area specifically.

Hopefully the new team can start to chip away at many of the concerns residents have at this complex and make this a desirable apartment complex in the future.

Let’s start this way, i moved to this building back in 2022 march. I really love the community and the management team. Specially the maintenance team is unbelievable fast and reliable for any work order. Day or night, week day or weekend doesn’t matter. They are around the clock. That makes me hard to leave this place. Thank you very much Nasser and his team for the incredible work that you’re doing.

Excellent service,. When you raise a request about any issue, they resolve within few hours. which is really great. Over all Nassar and his team does great job at serving the needs of this community. Their commitment is impeccable. Keep it up.
