Do NOT rent from these crooks! I lived at their community Arium Southpoint for 5 years. Upon move in, I had original carpeting and appliances, nothing was updated. I paid my rent on time every month for 5 years. I had no complaints during my stay as well. I gave my 60 day notice and moved out on time. I received a bill for $1800 which I disputed. It was reduced to $1100…siting damage and clean up, carpet replacement, etc. There was ZERO DAMAGE and they were ripping out everything and updating the unit, as they did to every unit tenants vacated. They try to get your money to update their units. WORST COMPANY EVERY! DO NOT TRUST THEM! I have filed a complaint with the NCREA and I am going to the housing agency of NC. I work in property management myself and they have tried to screw the wrong person.

PLEASE BE WEARY OF HOW THEY RESPOND AND REACT TO THEIR TENANTS! Email sent August 19th with zero response from Carroll or PM/APM of Cobblestone Village (a Carroll realty property)!

Dear Cobblestone/Carol Realty

After receiving your email to work with payments if contacted by 8/26 and then receiving a notice of eviction being processed by 8/11 (per my contract) if my balance wasn’t paid in full. I arrived to my apartment 8/20 to remove my belongings from my apartment as an eviction filed the 11th would state that I had 10 days to evict the premise. Upon arrival it was a shock to see that all of my belongings were stolen from me. My clothes/shoes, kitchen appliances, washer and dryer, flat screen televisions, electronics, vanity, furniture. All of it gone. I am writing to allow you the ability to respond, I used my key to enter my home and also found my AC running at 62 degrees running up my electricity bill. I have filed a police report, collected video evidence from my neighbors camera and affidavits from the surrounding neighborhoods that witnessed not only your cleaning company loading their cars with my belongings but also one of the property team members (black gentleman as described) pulling up on a golf cart to retrieve my electronics, where he proceeded to ask for a screwdriver from my neighbor to remove the mount of the back of the Television. Due to Covid 19 my company closed their doors after a brutal several months and as you know unemployment benefits stopped coming after being told I would be evicted I took the appropriate actions and used my rights as your renter to obtain my belongings. If my belongings or the total amount of my belongings is not given back to me I will take all evidence to eviction court and I will also forward it to my lawyer for a civil lawsuit against you for stealing what was rightfully mine. Though I have no received an eviction notice nor been served if you filed it on 8/11-8/13 as per normal on my lease with Cobblestone village 10 days would give me until 8/21-8/23 to vacate if I didn’t pay my balance. Being that today is 8/20 and my apartment was cleared out prematurely even earlier than today this is Blatantly called Theft. And the amount of money stolen from my family and I falls under even higher penalties.

Please respond within 48 hours or I will proceed with filing a lawsuit.

They’re scammers!!! DO NOT deal with this company. They allow their apartment managers to lie and steal deposits from prospective tenants. They’ll say you’re approved (through a third party) but after you pay your deposit, you then receive an email from the property manager saying you’re denied. Now your deposit is forfeited because you “jumped the gun” when paying your deposit AFTER being approved smh.

In reference to their Nashville location the cascades Front office staff is nice but the company they use to do their application approvals are TRASH. They denied my application bc they considered a past debt as a charge off when on my credit report from all 3 credit beauru say it’s reflected as paid in full but the document they sent me said they denied my application bc of too many charge offs I don’t have any charge offs!!!!!! They also state on their website that they accept guarantors and co signers which isn’t true bc if you don’t pass the initial application on your own they claim they can’t rent to you period. I even offered to pay my full 12 month lease and a larger deposit up front and they were not willing to consider that either. Seems off to me bc all any company cares ab is there bottom line but yet they are refusing to rent to a person who is willing to pay for a full years worth of service up front and a larger deposit limiting any potential financial liability they may have.

DIRTY. The apartments literally have bugs in them. It’s crazy how the building looks so nice on the outside, but actually be so gross on the inside. The staff literally literally only cares about the money, and they didn’t even seem concerned with there being bugs in the apartment. The Carroll’s will NOT be getting any praise from me or any of my friends/family. I feel sorry for those involved with this place.

This is the most disturbing and disgusting apartment complex I've ever experienced, which you guess it A CARROLL COMPANY COMPLEX! After running a janitorial company for years I can say that I'm the least bit messy. Our 1 year old was forced to live in two apartments that were riddled with cockroaches while they didnt answer emails, calls or pawned off the info to someone "more superior " because it's not their job. Because they didnt properly clean and move our stuff as promised from the first apartment, our electronics carried the roaches to our new apartment we ended up moving ourselves in 105° weather even though they were supposed to. They have done nothing but lies to resolve this, and after 4 months of this bs it has drained a happy family to complete debt. They didnt even give us the laundry card to wash our clothes! My brand new Jetta is now infested because we had to move the unproperly bombed items from one apartment to the next and are forced to move back home as it has cost us almost 10k to go out to eat everyday, drive and get hotels because I had roaches everywhere. I've had to leave EVERYTHING I own and they didnt compensate for ANYTHING. in fact they tried to say we owed them for the rent for June because "they couldnt rent out the old apartment because our (roach infested) stuff was still in it"!!!! I work for a company that I travel across the continental us and work from my office, which this whole time has not been able to do. DO NOT MOVE HERE. THE ONLY REASON WE DID IS BECAUSE THEY TOOK ANIMALS. IT IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!! Everyone should know how they ruined my family beach destination to hell. You jewrly broke up a family and told us to go f ourselves. You should be Ashamed and I will tell everyone what your company does!

This place was awful. I found hairs all in the bed and shower. There was literal dirt in the tub. I wasn’t too upset until I tried to contact someone about my concerns. Hoping they would at minimum make it right in any way. I was blessed to get in touch with someone fairly quickly. But when I did, they said I had to talk to the General manager. Whom never bothered to reach back out to me after my many attempts of trying to reach out. Very unprofessional and just a trashy place. Do not recommend!!

Poorly ran apartments. Office at the Everwood apartments in Murfreesboro is never open on Sundays like their sign says. Saturday's they seem to show up randomly. They never ever pick up their office phone. I will only say that they are very nice IF and only if you get the chance to talk to some one.
