Lived in one of their properties for 2 years and can honestly say it was one of the best renting experiences I've ever had. Alita and her team work so hard to make the moving process easy, are always on top of maintenance, and the units and shared amenities are kept so clean. Alita specifically has been an incredible resource for any questions or concerns and always responds in a timely manner, going above and beyond to make your living experience the best in KC.

Cannot say enough good things about her and Terra Management as a whole! I hope to live in one of their properties again in the future!

I have lived in a Terra management property since 2016, and each place has provided a lovely abode that is well-tended to by staff that is kind, fun, and takes a genuine interest in its residents. They know my name, my partner’s name, and even our dog’s name. When we see them around, they always say hello. Any issue we have ever had has been quickly resolved (never more than one week, usually within 1-3 days). We love our terra homes! Not only are they beautiful, charming, and often historic, but they are deeply cared for by its people.

I lived at the Notre Dame apartments in Hyde Park for six years and not only was it my favorite home I've rented in Kansas City, but Terra is the best management company I've experienced in my 17 years living here. The property is well-cared for: interior public areas are cleaned regularly, the pool was well-kept, the landscaping was always beautiful. The office staff are kind, helpful, and were always quick to respond to calls or emails. Maintenance requests were always handled in a timely manner by a friendly maintenance crew. Would highly recommend Terra to anyone looking to rent in Kansas City!

DISGUSTING. I have NEVER, EVER had one roach and this place forever changed how I look at apartment buildings.

We got the keys Friday at 1:30pm. We canceled the lease and had our boxes moved back out by 4:30pm. As we were unloading the last of our boxes, a GIANT cockroach was just crawling around the living room. They tried to tell me “it’s a water bug coming up from the drain”. Well, a “water bug” is an oriental cockroach, and the photo of the bug in this apartment is NOT a “water bug”. We were told to drop the keys back to their office by 5pm Friday, yet at 4:53pm they had left for the day.

They send you videos and lie about “ample parking”. The parking is on a steep hill and there are rarely spots.

Then, one day later as we are unpacking back into our old home, there is a small roach inside a clothing box.

Spoke to one lady the whole time we were planning the move and as soon as I said I wanted out of the lease, she’s uncontactable.

Choosing the Washington Irving as my first apartment away from home was the perfect choice. I loved the charm and historic quirks of my apartment and my friends were jealous I had landed such a good spot. The neighbors are friendly, the building is quiet, and the management (especially Alita) is great! Maintenance requests are easy to make and are quickly resolved. I very highly recommend renting at the Washington Irving and with Terra Mgmt in general.
